With the improved netcode, it's hard for me to tell which moves are considered "lagtactics" like in SCIV. Are there are specific character moves that fall within this category?

You do realize that you're in the Online Mode section, right? Of course there are lag tactics online. No such things as lag tactics in SCV ;)
Depends on the unblockable and the lag. I didn't mean that every character's every unblockable is useful for lag tactics.Random unblockables are considered lag tactics, really? Every time I've thrown one out(in public or private rooms) it seems like my opponent was quite well aware of it as soon as I started the animation...and half the time I end up paying for it anyways with a nasty punisher.

Leixia's 22_88K and 22_88kA cannot be reacted to separately online. You might be able to block both by sliding from a low to a standing block upon seeing the start-up, but you cannot know for sure whether to punish or not (because the lag will make it impossible for you to react fast enough to be able to tell if that's a kA or K before the lag for K is over). In other words, if you try to punish, you'll just have to pray that that's a 22_88K, not a 22_88kA.You DO realize that the OP asked for our opinion in the online forum right?
Why dont you give us some examples instead of giving a vauge response!

I never said it wasn't viable. I said that it isn't a 50/50 offline, but online it practically is.I disagree, but thanks for elborating.
That particular mix-up is viable offline as well.
I'm sorry, do you magically possess some kind of 0 frame lag connection to all of your opponents? Even on a truly good line against a good connection, there's going to be some lag.Its almost a guess if youre gonna be able to punish it or not. The same rules apply offline vs online so I PERSONALLY dont see it as a lag tactic.
It's not a great lag tactic. But it's a lag-tactic nonetheless. It is undeniable that the mix-up is better online than offline. As much as I hate Lexia (mostly cause I dont know her match up very well yet) I dont see it as being lag tactic worthy. I can see it if your playing someone across the country or something but as a general whole, im not convinced
EVERYTHING IS A LAG TACTIC ON THE INTERNET SIMPLY BECAUSE IT ISN’T OFFLINE. THE GAME IS ALWAYS REGISTERING MY THROW BREAK JUST A TAD BIT TOO LATE AND I AM ALWAYS MISSING MY BLOCK PUNISH ON 2K JUST A TAD BIT TOO LATE. THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN OFFLINE. STOP DELUDING YOURSELVES.

Are you allergic to sarcasm? Or are you saying sarcastic wit and intelligent conversation are mutually exclusive? Trust me, when I'm belittling your intelligence, you'll know.Welp.....there went my hopes of having intelligent conversation. Thanks for flying Dave airlines!
Not startup, but once K hits, you'll be able to tell it from kA fast enough for at least a mix-up.22K and 22kA distinguishable in a real match?
Good luck, squire...
