btw just got done playing yoshi, I see why you say the things you do about him though he does have some good stuff, that CH 66A BE into iMCF seems pretty legit, though iMCF into 3B is hard as hell now, have to commit

I am strongly irritated for not knowing Dr.Dogg's new character, but I will also look forward to finding out who it is.
 
So it turns out I AM going to go help my brother today, so I can't make the UAT thing unfortunately. On the upside though, break this week. I'm free for casuals pretty much all week if anyone wants to set up something.

I'm fine with random drawing, especially since SPQR and Dest won't be there.

About Yoshi, iMCF into 3B isn't too bad, you just have to RCC. You still have time to hit-confirm the 3B, but you have to buffer the RCC as soon as possible, which is the problem. Sometimes I even miss the easier iMCF to 66B. RCC leads to more damage, but it's a pain and I tend to mess up the RCC into 3B command since you don't have a lot of time to hit it. You go from 66 damage to 90+ if the opponent doesn't know how to escape the tech trap. Otherwise you're only missing out on about 15 points of damage.

66A is slow and -12. When I messed around awhile ago, I don't recall being able to hit-confirm the BE version. On block, the second hit of the BE comes out slow, so I'm thinking you can step and punish... but again, it's been awhile since I looked at it.

ZWEI is my secondary, but you probably already knew that. aPat is my new character, but he won't be tournament ready for at least another week or two. I'm hoping ZWEI gets a buff in the patch next week so that he can be tournament viable.
 
So kPc - I was right. Alpha pat's aGI does give you more damage than the B+K series.

Try this:

A+B[2] 66B 44 8A+BB 2A BE 8A+BB

You can add a JF umbrella if they don't tech after 2A BE, too. 106 damage off an auto GI, as opposed to the 82 you were getting before.

Oh and if you don't want to spend meter - A+B[2] B+K62B44B+K is 86 damage. Still better than the maxed out aGI followup. :)
 
Patch notes were released. They nerfed Yoshi... and the three buffs ZWEI received are pretty much useless. Namco fail.
 
I didn't doubt you dest, I just like the last one cuz no matter what its a guaranteed 82 dmg and I don't have to worry about messing anything up

  • a+gA+B+K (Curse of the Ancient Mariner): decreased rise in opponent’s critical gauge.
  • Dread Charge: once B (Geo Da Ray, Shadow Flare) is buffered during Dread Charge, you cannot re-buffer to other moves except B+K (Shadow Flare).
I got buffs for the most part...sweet!

Nightmare and Siegfried got an unneeded Nerf....great, oh well I am happy about the fix of fuzzy guard and step cancel, etc. I am sad for tira and leixia thought they got own. Natsu and Maxi have it coming.
 
the sieg nerfs dont affect me too much except for the 22_88 A, I mean I could somewhat understand since its a TC safe mid horizontal, but its one of the few good moves he has, it is what it is

To be fair, the changes don't change her tier that much. A lot of it isn't stuff she used much of, and whether she can use it now relies on how safe it actually becomes. Esp since most of what was buffed is linear as all hell. Major change is an extra 20ish damage. on combo :)
