Why is it so fun to get hatemail?

I mean, I just got invited into a party and *****ed at for about ten minutes after a guy d/c'd on me. That made my day.

Am I just a terrible person, or does everyone enjoy getting as much hate as possible?
 
Its rather pathetic really when you think about it.

Some combination of wanting attention, willingness to be a prick, safety behind the internet and the inability to be funny in a more meaningful and classy manner.
 
Getting hatemail from a scrub you absolutely destroyed, yes that is fun.

Getting hatemail because you yourself are the scrub, you should be ashamed.
 
Well, I agree that it is pathetic to want attention from it using safety behind the internet, but when you're simply playing the game, and someone sends you hatemail, is it so wrong to enjoy it?

And how do you mean getting hate from being a scrub? Spamming against E-ranks with Mitsu/Natsu/Claymores?
 
I feel better about it when i get love mail. I get so much hate mail from people who don't understand the game that when someone compliments me on the way I play even after taking a pounding I actually feel a little better about our community. The whole reason the SC4 community was so bad was because it was full of Asaba wannabe's. Let's try to make this one better and actually help out people instead of just being an ass 24/7.
 
its not fun to get hatemail....at least if you care about the community.
You should always try to explain opponent informations that leads him to think you did something wrong...or just ignore him.

The only thing you can get out of hatemail is making people angry.
Hatemail are only good against glitchers >_> all those people that are not good for the community (i.e. emulers and such....).
That unless they are deliberately trolling....
 
While you're here Darkfender, would you mind playing casuals online later? As you saw yesterday, I'm still very inexperienced vs Raphael in this game, heh.
 
yesterday i played just a couple match completely blinded by the RAGE against EA -.- (mass effect 3 has huge bugs on italian version making it unplayable).......who were u using? the only patsuka i met was 2 days ago (when i wasn't upset).
i will play again at 18:00 +1 gmt, with people you know >.>

Well going to hatemail EA now .....
 
I went in to a room with a bunch of Viola's (and an edge master lol) once. I kicked all of their asses and got kicked from the room after getting LOADS of hatemail from all of them. The most peculiar one was "YOU'RE SO CHEAP YOU JUST SPAM IVY'S CE ALL DAY."
This was the most mind fucking, as it was before the patch when it was such a pain to use Ivy's CE I forget it was even there. AND IT'S A CE.
 
I like both receiving an sending hatemail. everyone should play ranked drunk and get really mad at everything if they lose!!
 
I went in a room where there was some good players and they kicked me out and sent me hate mail saying I suck and that alpha patroklos sucks and is easy to use. They kicked me out because i beat all their asses.

Can someone explain to me how do people think patsuka is easy to use? He is not

I used to send some brutal ass hatemail. :)
And I don't see what the huge deal is!
It's a very therapeutic exercise IMO! In both releasing anger and laughing at something when you have a terrible day.
 
One thing that annoys me is that no matter how well you come back to their nonsensical, pre-pubescent rage, they will still think they're winning the "argument". Your wit is completely wasted on them.

But then again, I do take pleasure in knowing how increasingly more angry they must be getting with every unnecessarily flashy combo that connects :D
