PSN/XBL Ragequitters

Very funny. >_>

The full story is this:

My entire experience vs Cervantes players online and offline (including WGCCannes) were comparitively terrible players. Going into the games I quickly found that I was clueless vs high level Cervantes pressure and because I was playing Alpha online, my movelist was restricted as my name isn't Maxou, lol. Tried with my two week Viola and almost got triple perfected and I was aware that much like a Ryu player against his first Dhalsim, what I needed wasn't more matches it was time in the lab, so after the second match ended, I left the lobby and entered a subsequent 3 hour training mode session. I have also been doing periodic focused anti Cervantes strategies in the lab and learned a touch of Cervantes to identify potential holes in his rushdown.

This is ragequitting when I left after the match finished and we were back in the lobby? I think not...

As far as I'm concerned I did the smart thing by recognising my ignorance and going off to rectify it. Though I suppose I could take a leaf out of your book and just complain constantly until Alpha got unnecessarily buffed to...

So basically, you quit to avoid further humiliation :P Ok I get it.

I was actually looking forward to seeing your match against Silent Joel in London, would have been a funny thing to watch.

Trust me, I've done enough casuals with him at Cannes, I know how that would have ended.

Picture a Cervantes player that has no idea how to iGDR and who considers his entire meter management game to be: hoard meter until 2 full bars, then B+G CE CE, rinse, repeat. Then let your imagination grasp if you can a player who will use aB as every other move and continue to attack on hit regardless of how many times he gets launched for doing so, finally, a player who seldom ever uses A+G unless it could net a RO, thus having a predictable throw game and fails to consistently punish JF Twister.

Does that sound to you like a Cervantes player to be scared of? Because that was his WGCCannes Cervantes. Granted we were only two weeks in, but in SCIV my first ever match with him was a FT5 his SophieX my Kilik - you know first hand how bad my Kilik was in that game and I still 5-2'd him honestly just spamming Asura dance and throws. This was 3 months before SCV was released and he has years of Calibur experience over me.

He's by no means a bad player and he's a really nice guy in person, but until he proves otherwise I am in no way shape or form remotely scared of his Cervantes. =/

I know how he plays, I've played against him in London, a day before the tournament. I think he actually won a few more games against me than Hyrul despite having to play on a PS3 controller. I also picked aPat to see how he would do against him and it wasn't that bad. I think it would be interesting to watch, since both of you don't know your opponents character very well :P

Actually, since getting fucked up by the Doc, I've spent 99% of my time that isn't offline casuals working on my anti Cervantes. As to how well I really know him, tournaments will tell but I'm certainly more confident regarding his options than I was beforehand.

I make no assumptions that I am in any way better than you at SCV man, but if its a money match you want, its a money match you'll get. After all, I can't do any worse than I did last year, lol (0-10 ~_~).

ohhh whaat. I was expecting some trash talk....its not fun like this! :P

Well i first have to see if i will be at EBO, still dont know what i'll be doing during that time....

If you don't show up, I will stop off in Stutgart on my way back and cut your hair off, so you'd better be free -
I'M WATCHING YOU

Doc, you will be in Wriezen collecting money from MMs for the Osman Empire, where else?

I want to see that MM. I will hold your hand when it's over, Josh xD

Remember you can always raqe quit in real life in EBO 2K10 Chazy's style - throw your pad / stick on the floor and then kick it until it breaks on the wall xD too bad it wasn't recorded.

RoyalRevanant. I fought this guy before he had 75% win rate and he tore me up, so I didn't block him until I noticed his connection only improved when he was ahead on life. So that's when I blocked him. I ran into him again the other night and thought it was odd that I was fighting him despite me blocking him. We get into a round and I DESTROY him. Second round same story, and just as I score the perfect he disconnects. This makes me sad because despite his bad connection when we first fought I could tell he had some talent, but I guess keeping a high win percentage is more important.
