PSN/XBL Ragequitters

Can we please add andur/thegrandbeeking to this list? He apparently posts on 8wr a lot and he's got over a thousand wins with only 14 losses, sitting at 98% win rate. I see him online constantly and he usually can beat me, but I've seen him rage quit twice right as I was about to kick his ass. The second time, he sends me a message telling me that I'm "abusing lag". It seems like with amount of times he's had to ragequit to maintain a 98% win rate, he'd be getting reported a lot, but I still see him everywhere. Hopefully he'll get banned or something.
 
Heard of him. Though Pocky Yoshi would want nothing to do with him. Ragequitters is the best way of saying: free win due to forfeit. If they have a high winning percentage mentality, they also have a low confidence mentality in taking losses to be better or shrugging it off.

Are you serious? Andur/grandbeeking is anything but a rage quitter. Hes just that good. One hellava nice guy and a role model IMHO. You mustve pissed him off something fierce for HIM to send hatemail. Which I highly doubt cause I know the guy really well!

The guy is for sure no slouch in this game, or in SC4. He maintained top 10 in ranked (yes I know I know, but stay with me here) and has contributed so much technical information to this place.

Id say the cards fall on you and how you play. Cause Ive played COUNTLESS hours with the guy and will vouch for him in anyway. And he is none of the things you mentioned!

No its clear that he REALLY needs to switch over to PSN to avoid the whinners that are on XBL. Glad Im not there anymore!!

I don't doubt that he's a good player, I just doubt that he's 98% win rate good. I've ran into him maybe like 10 times, and only a couple times did he really sweep the floor with me. Most of our fights have been really close, which surprised me as my record is only around 50%, so I figured that there's no way this guy legitimately wins 98% of every game he plays.

I don't know what pissed him off that day, but at the end of the second round as he was about to lose, he just ragequit and sent me a message, something along the lines of "please dont be downloading while you play" and then accused me of abusing lag which is ridiculous as I experienced no lag whatsoever and had nothing downloading. I'll take a picture of it on my phone when I get home.

I think ima work on getting my RROD'd xbox back up and running!

Theres really no need for taking pictures and such. I belive you percived the situation a certain way. I dont doubt that. But Andur is a hella cool guy that you could really learn a lot from. I suggest you give him a second chance and maybe try learn from him.

I'm sure you have your own opinion of him and maybe he's cool with people he knows, but the fact of the matter is, he has ragequit on me twice as I was about to tarnish his near perfect record. That's like the most cowardly thing you could do in this game. I have no doubt that he's a better player than me, but at least I don't quit when someone beneath my skill level is about to beat me.

Quitters piss me off. It feels like one out of every four matches that I would win are annulled because of quitters. Just today, I had like three in a row. IN A ROW.

The only thing that pisses me off more was one guy who beat me and then sent me a message reading, "nightmare is probably a bit easier..." I got so mad that I had to stop playing for a couple hours.
