Edit: I honestly find the lack of hair and faces being the most limiting aspect. There's only so much you can really do with what we have now. I hate resorting to using the fame choices over and over. And Beards not being apart of the faces would have been nice...

A Taki and Xainghua costume pack would be well worth the money.. the characters that were replaced should have their costumes featured, I'd think that would be the first idea. Natsu would look way more badass in Taki's outfit.

The character 1P/2P packs will out on the 24th. I wouldn't call it a letdown just yet. Speaking of the modern clothing, does anyone know if the stewardess uniform can be equipped with pants? I hope it's not one huge piece, but by the looks of it, it might be...

You got that right.

I think the problem is that PS is leaning too much on modern material at the moment. They've hardly had much of items more fitting to the game based on that timeline. Oiran Kimono and the Egyptian set are two of them, and then you are pretty much imagining "porn land" at this point (Leather, ripped clothing, Roleplay, loli-con, bestiality)

I'm quite happy with modern equipment, but if that's what they're going for, make it worth our while. I liked most of the modern clothing in SCIV (flight jacket, drums corps jacket, blazer, formal pants, etc,.), but so far there aren't in modern pieces in SCV that surpasses those. I hope this new pack shows me otherwise

I guess so. I was more leaning towards parts from previous characters, and more faces, and hairstyles. Faces, I'm sure, may take some time, but not hairstyles.

I don't see much weapon designs either.

But I think the only item I was really fascinated with was Oiran Kimono, since that style hasn't been in since SC3 (The Gambler's Robe).

I.
For tournament players. Throughout the series many characters have been banned and unbanned for various reasons. Some make sense and some do not. That's the point you fool. He had no place in the roster. Who has a "place" in the roster of Soulcalibur anyway? Answer: Nobody. Your main reason for going against Necrid is just like the other bandwagon junkies-"he's banned in tournaments" which is why you put that reason first. All in all, if you're going for the point of it doing with the story/timeline/logical sense you lose anyway because SC doesn't makes sense. Only parts of it do and its always been that way.

II.
Seung Mi-Na is NOT a Kilik clone. If anything, Kilik is the clone of her as it was clear that throughout the series Kilik kept stealing moves from her move set and Namco/Project Soul had to fill Mi-Na's stolen moves slot with some other bogus move that was useless or a copy of her existing moves which in turn created a double input and gave it a different name.

No particular country/state/city/county/whatever the hell you want to call it has a designated spot within the Soulcalibur universe. Yes, when making SC the biggest countries come into play but are not guaranteed a spot in the game.

People haven't seen him since SC1 because he's an old man and is really not that interesting. There is absolutely no "air of mystery" to him whatsoever. We know he's the master of all styles in the realm of SC, he's old, looks like a physically in shape Santa Claus, average height, has his own versions of various weapons since SCV. Where he's from? Answer: Don't give a hoot. How did he become the master of all styles? Answer: Well since he's old he most likely spent every day learning and training. Does he have family? Answer: Don't give a hoot. Any other questions? Answer: Nope, that just about covers it all. As for the other mimics...yes they are copies of edge master who is a copy of everyone and that's why they'd be in his slot and not have a designated slot. It'd give variety to the boring style copies(weapon masters).
 
I wonder what the new Soul Calibur V Character Equipment pack will contain. I'm kind of already a little disappointed that a lot of the outfits in the 1st one were glued together... (Viola's 1P stockings glued with shoes, Z.W.E.I.'s 1P & 2P pants glued with boots, etc.) but I still am interested in what is coming next. I do hope however that down the line, they make a patch that breaks down the character outfits more. With that said, I hope this pack has Viola's 2P, Cervantes 1P, Ivy's 1P, Pyrrha's 2P, Tira's 2P, Xiba's 2P, and Kilik's outfit.

But still, here is what I really would like to see, I've said it before and I'll say it again. lol

-CHARACTERS: Even if they don't make a full on appearance, at least offer their movesets/play-styles to CAS. I'd especially love to see...
  • Yun-Seong/Hwang (I miss his moveset and I've always like them so if you can't bring back either character, at least bring their movesets for CAS DLC plz?
  • Talim
  • Zasalamel (Come on, the dude uses a scythe! And he had a rather intricate style!)
  • Cassandra & Sophitia (I know Omega Pyrrha is supposed to be them but it's just not the same, I want more of Cassandra since Omega Pyrrha has more moves of Sophitia then Cassandra but if you could bring back both, that'd be fine too but moreso with Cassandra!)
  • Bangoo! (Come on, he's practically begging to join the fun! Let him come in and show us his skills!)
  • Setsuka (Moreso her style. Alpha Patroklos may be the replacement but I'd still want to see her style return for DLC. I loved that Umbrella!)
-SCIII Custom Styles: I really want to see more play-styles so along with the main characters, I'd love to see the SCIII styles make a return. I especially want to see the Lance, Kunai, Wave Swords, Katana & Shuriken, and Dagger. But really, all of them coming back would be awesome. All you have to do is fix and balance them, give them better moves, and better intros/outros/lose animations. You can do it!
-Moar HAIRSTYLES! (Seriously PS, bring back all the hairstyles from SCIV like "Oriental Frame", "Pompadour", Unkempt, & PONYTAIL!" And while you're at it, re-create hairstyles from SCIII like Medium Straight, Medium Length, Geisha, Long Shaggy, Styled Back, Medium Hard, and yeah, just all of them!)
-MOAR VOICES! (And if you can, make a patch that fixes the pitch & toning plz?)
-MOAR FACES! (If you can, make a patch that brings back the facial hair slot pretty plz?, but yeah, more face! Some young man looking faces and more normal woman faces!)
-SCIV Equipment! (Seriously, bring back the all the clothing from SCIV!)
-SCIII Equipment! (Along with SCIV equipment, bring back SC3 equipment as well! I for one would love to see the garments updated and brought back. It will be even more fun now that we have stickers/patterns to add!)
-History of Soul Calibur Veterans Outfits! (Seriously! Donate all the main characters previous outfits into CAS. From Soul Blade/Soul Edge, Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur 2, and Soul Calibur 3! You can name the pack like for example, "Siegfried Ultimate Pack 1" and it would contain his 1P & 2P outfits from Soul Blade/Soul Edge, then later on, make a pack called "Siegfriend Ultimate Pack 2" which would contain his 1P & 2P outfits from SC3. And so on with all the characters! I also wouldn't mind seeing an "Unused Equipment Pack" which would contain outfits used in the concept designs that were thrown away. Us creators can make good use of them!)
-MOAR SPECIAL ITEMS! (Bombs, Dolls, More variety of earrings, etc.)
-MOAR SPECIAL ITEM SLOTS THAT YOU CAN EQUIP TO YOUR CHARACTER! (3 is just not enough!)
-MOAR PATTERNS & TEXTURES: More of these would be great! Add in some fishnet, lace, mesh, rubber, leather, satin, etc. Those would make great textures!
-MOAR STICKERS: Some stickers like "lace-up", more animal motifs, country motifs, and so on. There are lots but those are a few.
-Update Patch 1: Fixing all the wardrobe malfunctions/glitches. Like I said before in another pose, it's ridiculous how you can't equip the waist ribbon with the Chiffon/Medium/Pleated/Mini skirt. Or how you can't wear the knee socks or black tights with the stiletto heels. There are lots more issues but yeah, would definitely like a fix on this.

I'll probably add more but yeah, that's the general idea. xD
