Official SCV Stage Discussion

You are well aware that these are in different locations in Asia.

But I can somewhat agree and disagree. I think they should lean towards the Soul Edge approach and have the stages alternate in time by each round, or at least some of them. Also like how VF4 did with Akira's stage.

But I can agree that each character should have a distinct stage to themselves rather than sharing it. but I can assume that some of the stages were based solely on the story.
Actually, one is in Asia (Yoshimitsu's), but the other is supposedly in Spain (Kilik's). In a way, Kilik's stage kind of make's Yoshimitsu's somewhat unnecessary (not only are they both raft stages, but they take place in the same type of setting). As I said, I think they should've at least brought back a handful of older stages, so they would avoid doing that. Yoshi could've kept the Villa and maybe Nightmare could've had a throne room similar to Ostrheinsburg Castle Throne Room and let Pyrrha Omega keep Denevér Castle.

Has it already been discussed how some characters are so much better in over-wall-Ring Outs than others?

For instance, Raph sux and ZWEI rox.

I'd usually pick stages without low wall as Raph and I now tend to pick low wall stages as ZWEI.

No offense taken.

I don't always do this, btw. And I only do this if I'm alternating in picking stages with my opponent (such as in a room, where who lost last picks the stage). Anyways, there are always plenty of stages with or without low walls to pick.

Now, about Asta on Pyrrha stage... does it actually give Asta an advantage, or is it just because these players seem to hate ROs? And they could also pick Patsuka or Xiba's Stage.

Is Asta that bad with ROs?

It's because Astaroth has insane wall combos, and since the stage is enclosed, it gives Astaroth a greater chance of utilizing these devastating wall combos upon his opponents.

Yeah like asta can literally do like what 200+ damage to u on a wall combo? yeah....I dunno what can be worse, that stage or an infinite stage when having to face him....

I want more stages! I would really like to see dlc stages that are really different than the ones we have now. A couple throw back stages would be cool, but I would like to see brand spanking new ones.

This is more important to me than any other dlc. I don't care if we ever see new characters, there is enough imo.

What is that THING in the cage on Ivy's stage? Le Bello finds it strangely adorable.

Also, in Algol's stage, I see statues of Zasalemel and Arcturus is it? Or is it post-badass Algol? Can anyone identify the other statues?

It's a PacMan ghost. Apparently, Ivy also happens to be a talented computer scientist, and unveiled the mysteries of pixetalted entertainment much earlier than the rest of the world.

Oh, it DOES kind of resemble one. It's difficult to see with adjusting the camera. Le Bello thanks you.

^I agree.
And the amount of repeated stages in this game is really disappointing. Whoever thought that it was cool to have the same stage take up extra slots due to a day/night or different lighting thing needs to rethink this. Cuz it feels lazy when I realize that there's room for 3 or 4 NEW stages that's not repeated like that day/night coliseum stage or forest stage. And why is there two slots for the citadel stage during the siege... and not during the siege? On that same boring bridge. (>P_P)
At least Asta, Elysium, Algol and Hilde's stage make up for the lack of stages with their graphical awesomeness.
