Swords, Shields, And Sparkly Things - FE's CaS Gallery

Here's a new update with some revised outfits I created for my CaS cast. I used most of the new DLC pieces, but the other outfits I won't be uploading yet just because I need a shitload of pieces from the pack coming out on Tuesday. :)

a new 1P for Xiao, since the first one looked a little too clunky. This one definitely fits the "thief" look a lot more. She has a new 2P too, but saving that for later.

scrapped both his 1P and 2P since I thought they were rather obnoxious to look at, plus monk-style characters are too outdated. Here I have the rebel jungle boy look as well as a soldier disguise (with shorter hair for effect).

redid her 1P since I thought the Spy Robe was atrocious, lol. (Plus the Xiaoyu shoes are a lifesaver)

Still not sure if I'd like to upload my Avatar CaS and Pyrrha/Viola army uniforms later. I think I should just wait for Tuesday before I upload any of these since I'm missing some pieces I'd like to add.

unless you guys want to see them now, which is also fine with me (not really, I'm rather busy, but I'll try getting them on tomorrow or something)

Surprise update:

Okay, so I might've said (I think) that I wouldn't be making any more cast members, but I gave in and said "why the fuck not", and here are the two newest additions to my SCV cast- the Indy Jones-esque resident demon hunter Alistair and his (questionably) faithful and loyal partner/familiar Khamlu!

Once again you grace us with your presence. I agree as well, I also never expected myself to like a character with said headdress. I love Khamlu's overall design, especially her picture. Very creative.
I also liked Alistair's outfit and weapon. Good choice with Cervantes, I look forward to seeing their 2p's if you make them. :)

See, the headdress was a total surprise for me. I was trying to make something that would fill in for Viola's missing veil for the meantime, as well as something to keep her outfit "busy". I randomly put on that dreaded Prayer Helm...and it just came out so well I had to keep it.

And glad you like Mr. Medieval Cowboy Alistair lololol. I should be getting to work on their 2P's soon... if I even know what to do for them OTL
 
Jin's Gauntlets on Alistair is an interesting choice. They might have been a surprisingly good fit, if it weren't for the pushbutton dial pads on the back of either hand. Even still, they manage to work, somehow.

People have talked about the Prayer Helm already, but what catches my eye in a positive way is the patterning on the Absolution Gear. The soft pattern befits the soft texture of the material. It's also worth noting that the veil on the Prayer Helm goes well with the rest of the Absolution Gear. That's probably the reason people seem to be more receptive of the Prayer Helm with this design. Personally, the rest of the helmet is too ostentatious and awkward-looking for my taste, but the veil, if isolated, could be an interesting addition to the part selection. I think we'll be seeing something like that, soon, with the release of Viola's 2P.

Now this is what I like to hear. Very detailed observation of character design.

See, I myself not found of either the JIN gauntlets or the Prayer Helm (first one being so...matte and plain, if that makes sense, and the second one for obvious and similar reasons), but I did take a chance, the little studs on the gauntlets kinda fit in to the whole "medieval cowboy" I was going for with Alistair, and I wouldn't have really used the Prayer Helm on Khamlu if it weren't for the ethnically ornate headpiece combined with a proper veil (otherwise I'd have settled for the Spy Mask, lololol), plus I was going for that "Hindu djinni" look, though I feel my attempt is more or less accurate, lolol.

Still, thank you so much for taking time to look at these. o___o Now's off to making more 2P's since Online Player Match is awful lolol
 
NEW COSTUMES ANYONE

The 2P outfits for both newcomers Alistair and Khamlu. Nothing too special for Alistair (aside from that special snakeskin mmmm) but taking in your responses to Khamlu and her totally odd and out-of-there outerwear, I kinda went against the rules and challenged the limits...again.
