As a judge, I have to be impartial to all entries until voting time, but since you won't be entering this design...

This is pretty good; I like it. I would have chose different parts from the skirt, the leg armor, the gauntlets, and the geisha hair, but the top was a great choice and the coloring is very close. No question that this is Elysium. Those Feathers of Strength in the veil are an interesting touch. I had to do a double-take to see that they were really there, since the way you colored them makes them blend in very well with the standard feathers on the veil. Very nice overall.

The top was the base which gave me the idea in the first place.

So aside from the top you don't want to keep anything? lol.
I understand why you would change the parts I only chose to replicate her second costume, but the hair? I thought it clearly showed that she was Japanese, also it was of a similar length and with a similar ribbon.

Well, to be more specific, it's not that the hair isn't a good choice. It's a great choice for the theme. I just don't like the the look of the geisha hair itself. If it were up to me and my tastes, I'd have gone with any of the ponytails or long hair.

I'll be honest, not much entries that look even "average". Most of them are quite poor. I don't think I'm being picky or thought here, all you know I'm easly amazed, and usually don't critizy the designs itself. This time...I have to do it, because I think people gone lazy with this challenge, and just dumped some particular themed clothes to some characters, but they don't feel at all as if they were from other country. They just the same characters with a 3jp.

Would be Japanese Siegfried blonde or chinese Ivy had silver hair?

Only one that is actually good is arabian Cervantes, why? Because he actually looks arabian.

Good point, but here's another question: Would a non-blond be Siegfried?
It's a trade off, with the blond hair he looks less Japanese but with any other color he looks less Siegfried.
Edit: Or maybe we can use yoshario's analogy and say that he is of the same heritage but born and raised in Japan.

Also as an Arab myself I don't think that Cervantes looks Arabian, but what do I know!

You do make a good point about hair colour but MistaKoo makes a good point to, for instance Ivy's hair colour isn't natural wearever you come plus I think its just intrinsicly her.

I think it was made quite clear that I was going for a Arabian nights, so I do genuinley apologise if my design offends you being arab yourself, but I went by images I found on the internet, but it is clear what I was going for and for the sake of the critiria of the contest he works, he no longer look like a spanish pirate

Japfried (racist to say?) was one of the better ones in this contest. It really fit Sieg's character, and did just resemble a (blonde) Japanese Siegfried. Nothing more needs to be said here.

Indian Natsu was one of the more original ideas. Certainly not perfect, but well designed and refreshing. Not sure if that's a mendi spot on her head, but I think it is, and it's just a little touch that brought the CaS together. Great work.

Arabian niiiiiiiiiiiiights, like Arabian daaaaaaaaaaaaays, more often then not, Matty trumps the lot, with his excellent taaaaaaste.

Well... my I have 6 favorites...

NecolordX - Jpanese Leixia- An interesting concept, with an excellent interpretation of colors.
Matty82 - Arabian Cervantes- Yeah everyone likes this one, I like the sheer resmblence to Cerv's actual 1p, with the slops.
Matty82 - Chinese Ivy- It seems this one was a trifle overlooked, the sticker work on the dress is gorgeous.
MistaKoo - Japanese Siegfried- Just totally Siegfried, it helps incredibly with Siegfried's kodachi weapon.
MistaKoo - Egyptian Pyrrha O- Also a wee overlooked, I LOVE the way the Bast Vazard looks with her eyes, and the skirt.
MistaKoo - Japanese Nightmare- An excelent chance to use one of the ornate kabuto at everyone's disposal.

Okay... votes... ummmmmm...

Don't worry at all, none taken. Actually that's one of the few non-negative ways we're represented so I should be happy :P

Also we were done with that a while back. This time I was just pointing out that different people from different parts of the world see different things in different ways.

Edit: This video is pretty much off topic, but about 1 minute in you'll see a guy with your name dancing stupidly with locals here in my country. We can pretend this is us resolving the matter!
