Your PRIDE and self obsession leaves you a vein empty creature, beauty is only skin deep but sadly your rotten to the core

I was very much inspired by the wicked queen from Snowwhite, so I tried to create a mirror that constantly floats behind her, I also used Violoa's style as it almost feels like she is checking her reflection constantly

Great job with the face, you soften it so much
Usually is a very beautiful one, but stone cold

The mirror is just one of the best use of 3d gadgets i've ever seen

Matty82 and Gatsu always make me speechless. That's a feat that happens quite often.
Yeah.... I feel like it might seem fake constantly gushing about their stuff... so I try to reserve myself and make specif comments... but their stuff (and there are a few others too) constantly impresses me. They are both amazingly good at expressing character. Their creations are usually designed so well that the images can seem bold without lacking subtlety.... and the use of color seems so natural....
... awesome.

This was my chillout session. The creation of 7 characters dragged out for ages for no other reason than I could. I've tweaked Pride and Sloth from earlier since they were a bit half assed.

Lust
...Still a work in progress.
Ramblings
Envy: Lots of greens and snakes for this one. She's blind and sees only with one big green eye, as envious people tend to see things. The Swan being flanked by a pair of serpents is to represent how slithery and duplicitous people tend to plot and scheme behind the backs of those they envy.
Pride: Lots of lions here. Highly elaborate armour with gold highlights and immaculate weaponry are designed to give an impression of someone who thinks very highly of himself. His cloak is ripped mainly to highlight how even though he thinks he looks spotless, he's far from perfect.
Sloth: Sloth is total apathy. No emotional expression, little strenuous activity and generally a lazy bastard. He's got grimy clothes, mismatched attire and a cat living in his hat. He just doesn't care. His face is hidden to prevent any form of emotion from being shown and his colours are mainly lifeless, dull or washed out.
Greed: Greed and his bags o' swag are a combination of a pirate and a bank robber. His design is to reflect opulence while at the seem time trying to convey a sense of the underhanded ruthlessness that comes with being a thief. He wants everything and will take it by whatever means he can.
Wrath: Wrath is all about anger anger and aggression. I wanted to convey a sense of power without making a huge hulking behemoth. Fire long with bird motifs created this phoenix-like theme and while it might not be an obvious tie for wrath seeing a winged, spiky bird breathing fire on people is pretty satisfying.
Gluttony: I know, WTF? (Where's The Food?) I struggled with this one. Fat Guy with food has been done. Gluttony eats everything though, so having him fighting with- or wearing- any kind of food didn't make sense to me since he'd probably rather eat it. So instead he's wearing the remains of those he's eaten. Bones, horns, smears over his mouth and the fur are essentially all that remain of the creatures he's come across. Awww, at least he's happy though, right?
Lust: Well she's got big bewbs at the moment...I do have pictures taken but she just looks like a mess.
I'm off for some therapy. This thread. THIS. THREAD.
Thanks, chobek! :D

Concept and inspiration:
Pride: The idea is a gold armored skull. He was a terrible and unfair ruler who was too proud to let someone else rule or even ask for help. The village folks lived under his reign until they double crossed him and killed him. He was also too proud to just die, he came back from the death to avenge himself.

Again not much inspiration here, it didn't even start with the sins in mind. He's just a skull with no value nor substance yet he wears this heavy golden armor that makes him look glorious and mighty. The horns makes his head look bigger and harder which shows arrogance and pride.
My original concept for pride had a bare handed fighter as in too proud to use a weapon, but this wouldn't work with such armor. Aeon's fighting style has a lot of headbutts which literally screams hard headed, also his weapons are small for his size which make him look like he's too confident. Also I didn't want another armored huge guy to use the big swords, still not sure between Aeon's Astaroth's and Cervy's styles.

hmmm .... I found it to be a disturbing trail off on Gluttony ..."at least he's happy though, right?" I really like what you have done so far and I like your thought process... I am still working on quite a few of the sins myself... it is hard to go against type and still read ... but I think you have done a good job with Gluttony. All of them have been great so far.... Looking forward to your lust!
...and there's no rush! So hopefully you can keep the chill out session going :)

Concept and inspiration:
Greed: The idea here is a professional con artist with expensive clothes. He just stole conned money out of everyone by any mean necessary even if it meant theft or murder. He just want to be the richest, most famous (and most beautiful?).
No village folks here (aww :<) since they obviously don't know about his sins.

At first I envisioned a man with a lot of fur and gold, but the fur didn't work out. I thought red velvet and gold armor sound like something a rich person would wear, alongside that stupid collar :P
In the end he seemed like a gentleman (or not so) thief. The mask and stache gave him a flamboyant personality which made him less generic. Maybe Raphael's style would suit him better?

This one was a bit rushed (colors/stache), but I wanted to indulge into the sin of gluttony IRL :<

You guys represented in so many ways is hard to find the better, duno why every time i think about sins i remember Fumllmetal Alchemist.....

I know I said I had Envy too, but it is still under works; so here's Pride and Wrath!

Look at that... He eats kittens...
PRIDE (or Vanity)- The sin of pride is associated with the horse, and the color purple. I was aiming for extravegance and showiness. I wanted him to look flashy and show-offy, I coulda done better with that... But I liked the look of the Pegasus Salet on him.
WRATH (or Anger)- Associated with the bear and the color red. I used King's jaguar mask 'cause I only needed to see the mouth anyway. I just wanted to make the biggest, just hulking, spike-covered monstrosity. The cat in the mouthe was kinda to highlight his vicious mouth, but I just an extra accessory slot and though it would be cool.

I think most people (or at least non-christians) first heard of the sins from FMA ;)

hmmm .... I found it to be a disturbing trail off on Gluttony ...

What? He's got a (sort of) smile on his face, doesn't he? Savage, cannibalistic gluttons are people, too. Glad you like him! :D

I know what you mean. Trying to avoid the traits everyone's gonna use or at least tweaking them in some unique way can be a pain, especially when some are readily identifiable like Envy being green, Wrath being red, etc. I'll be tweaking/adjusting them for a little while yet as well.

Oh and don't worry. It would take a freight train to knock me out of this chilling period.:D

I think we should start a support group for Savage Cannibals ...SCA..... I wonder what their steps would be .... apologizing to the families of those you have eaten... giving away your collection of ears... moving on to chicken legs...
I think someone up there is eating a kitten.... maybe that is a sign of progress!
(I think I laughed for 5 minutes when I saw the kitten being eaten.... and I felt stupid because I was in a room alone... I felt kinda crazy)

:)

I am getting very confused with my group of sins... I may have to make two different sets ...with Gluttony, Lust , and Pride I tried to simplify the colors and even human features of the bodies emphasizing the function of the sin... Then I had a blast making a big ugly wrath .... but he doesn't quite fit... neither do these next two...

Not the most original ... but fun... My concept of greed comes from humans trying to "take it with them". Honestly I thought of Egyptian rulers buried with their fortunes and their servants first. However, the wrapped mummy seemed to have a different connotation ,and, I liked this kind of opulence a little more... I used the skull mask over the skeleton on this because I really didn't like the angry demonic eye sockets... the skeleton is great... but I wish the skull were more accurate. I like using skulls a lot ... but I don't always want them to be evil .... sometimes I want to go for fragile or in this case vacant. So at the risk of seeming cartoonish I used the mask instead.

Envy is next... I will make that a separate post.
