That's the point though, Namco will always rush SC. SC needs a new developer so they have more time to work on their product because Namco will never give them that time.

SE needs a new fighting game since Toshinden (I think that was Square's?) and Ehrgheiz didn't work out. :D Buuut SE's not as awesome as they were in the NES through PSX days... :s

Ehrgeiz was Final Fantasy VII's publicity stunt before Squaresoft realized they could "remake" the series with sequels and prequels. *rolls eyes*

Sucks because Ehrgeiz was amazing for its time. Toshinden too since 3D fighting games were beginning to appear and hadn't been established yet. If it weren't for Toshinden, there probably would be no such thing as sidestepping or better yet, Soul Edge series. Someone probably would have discovered sidestepping though.

Tobal No.1
I was a big fan.
It ran silky smooth for its day (PS1 era).
Had some of the best\strangest character design of any video game.
It was a surprisingly deep fighting game.
