Talking about good games check this fight out.Nice match against HarajukuBarbie-
I'm not going to be as nice as my friend KAB, here---
As Kab mentioned earlier, there were a lot of missed punishes. Not only were you missing punishes for moves that were unsafe, but you were missing a lot of punishes off of whiffed moves. Not just by you, but by both parties. Whiffing seemed to be a frequent thing between the two of you. I saw a lot of dropped combos, and a lot of the combos I did see, weren't the best options (damage-wise/continuation/oki). Again, as Kab mentioned, a lot of buttons were being pressed with little to no thought. I wouldn't say you two are horrible players, just un educated. There's potential in anyone, in my opinion.
I personally think that im a solid player, sometimes i take risks like everyone but solid.
Knowing when to take risks, managing and balancing risk/reward in any match is an important quality in a competitor. However, watching that match, there seemed to be mindless button inputs more than coherent thought processing of risk/reward.
also you have to see between the lines.I was at home with parents calling all the day maybe i had a bad day..... i was at home not in a tournament a 100% focused on the battle.Lol im not making excuses, dont get me wrong. You are right when you say that she should have punished my ZWEIS 1BK sometimes, but that movement is kind of tricky so maybe she prefered just keep blocking it.
Excuses. Don't post a video up if you don't expect there to be some comments and critique. It takes a special kind of player to take the advice, analyze their own mistakes, and focus on being better rather than taking offense towards other players trying to help. I'm not saying everyone's opinion/advice is valid- but in this case, Kab is a heavy hitter in the competitive side of Soul Calibur, and his assessment on the match was pretty spot on.
Concerning ZWEI's 1BK, I've trained myself to block 1B, then duck and punish the K follow up- very consistently. This anti, I actually learned pretty early on in the game. I don't doubt other competitive players have done the same.
