Those lame pricks see that I chose Voldo and it's somehow my fault they haven't had time in the last 6 months to even broach a Voldo match-up. I'm sure this happens to Viola the most, but it still happens to me with Voldo way too much. Player match, ranked, or GC, it doesn't matter.

Today was a nice break from the game for me. I'll try to be on tomorrow though for whoever wants to play me in live.
 
I've been on a break from SCV because my wife wants to watch the olympics every night. So I've been trying to get my SE through SC3 emulators running, but mostly failing.
 
i love how people look at my player card and see that natsu is my most played at 96%. then they proceed to complain and say" you ONLY use natsu?". i explain that id rather be REALLY good with one character than mediocre with a bunch. they dont understand things like matchups or on point block punishment.

I love how people say I'm running to Maxi when he is at 44% on my list. I have been forbidden from using my main against someone else's main a lot.

It's too funny to pull out random Dampierre when they pull that shit who doesn't even show up on the list.

the best part is i could probably play a few characters that are at 0% on my card and wreck these people on fundamentals alone.

I mean, hell. It breaks my heart sometimes.

Edge Master will give me characters I know %^&*-all how to play, and I still win. (I know you could do it with your hands tied behind your back.)

When I was growing up, I had... I had Tekken 2, 3, Soul Blade, I think I only rented SC2, I didn't get the first SC1 'cause that was Dreamcast and I wasn't a cool kid.

but like- check it out- I didn't learn about tournaments- that people actually had tournaments for this stuff- until SCIV.

I mean, dead serious, I get told online to go to a tournament, and I go, and it's like "This is what people have been doing all this time???"


General populace, you go in there, it's like... People don't know about frames. Advantage/disadvantage. People don't know about spacing. People don't know about safety/unsafety. And it's like- whose fault is it? Nobody is telling them.

I've been- trying to tell people. Tutoring a few folks. But I'm only one man. And for all the others out there-

You're talking about having to get on a computer, find 8WR, wade through the forums and put together the basics pretty much by yourself. What is that?



I figure if they could at least put this stuff in the game, I could get challenged before getting cussed out.

People aren't always around/people don't always respond to invites. (I mean I do the same, that's just how it is.)

after playing VF5FS, it reminded me that playing a stream of new opponents is enjoyable as well.

I'm usually in GC during downtime or warming up while waiting for a friend to get ready/arrive.
 
Yeah, the invite to that one room last night was the first one I even saw in time in weeks. Half the time my PS3 is just kinda on and I'm not even there. GGs Drake, was it my internet that eventually hosed us?

GGs. PSN's been acting up recently, either it's PSN, or something to do with SCV, but there have been a lot of drops, lost connections, network errors, sometimes I even get kicked out of GC and can't get back in for a while. I've had a couple of XMB freezes too.

I've accepted it as a part of life... though, I'm not going anywhere near any more online tournaments because of it (drama!!!)

At least it is not SCIV. I didn't know what whiff punishing was back then, and I know why now.

Yeah...see, after that I ended up on Enkindu's stream, he beat me 6 times in a row, and just as game 6 ended, I see "The Ethernet cable was removed. Returning to Astral Home." and I'm all, NO NO NO NO NO. It's very possible someone in the kitchen kicked out my router while dancing to Chumbawumba (never mind why the router's on the kitchen floor), but honestly I don't know what happened. Didn't look so great though...
 
You know what I think is funny? The fact random scrubs complain about Sieg's 3B but not Ivy's or Leixia's when they use theirs 3 times more. Lol
