Team Mighty Chicago - TMCHI

We need to start playing offline as much as we were before. Online is giving me too many bad habits and I'm not learning anything from it...except how to get pissed off and disappointed for wanting to learn anything from it.

Speaking of which, would anyone be interested in doing a meetup/playing some casuals sometime between August 10th and the 23rd? I'll be back from college and would love to get some good games in while I'm here.

@LP: Do you guys have a place/venue you usually use for casuals? As a last resort we could use my folk's place in Park Ridge, but it's a pretty small house. Any ideas on where we could meet?
 
Double post, but a reminder: I'm in town now, and am looking to have a get-together for some casuals within the next week and a half. Would anyone in town be interested in doing this? My schedule is flexible and I'm sure I can use my folk's house (in Park Ridge) if we need a place to play.

Sorry, boss! I must've missed the alert. I'm down for some games and we could alwas play at ARU's or Typhoon's if they have the day off (I think =p).
 
Awesome! Can you ask ARU or Typhoon what day would be best for them to host a gathering? I'd prefer it to be before Chicago 4 Ultimate, but if that doesn't work out I can do the week after as well.

(Congrats on MLG, by the way!)

So I've talked to Aru, and it tentatively looks like the gathering will be Tuesday at his house in Bourbonnais. On Tuesday I have a dentist appointment at 3, and I will probably leave for the gathering as soon as I can after that, or I will grab something to eat before I leave/on the way. I'm leaving from Park Ridge and my route will take me through the city, so I can swing by wherever and pick some people up before I head out if you like, just PM me your address and I can give you a ride. This goes for anyone who wants to come, don't by shy y'all :)
 
Hey folks been a while but I'll see if I can get down to Chicago through greyhound for the tournament since it's less than 40 bucks for a round trip ticket.
If I can: is there anyone who could pick me up from the Chicago station to the tournament place and back the next day? I know it's asking a lot, but I'm pretty desperate to get offline with this game. <_<

So I'm back in near the city for school, wondering if anyone's still playing this or if the crowds all moved to TTT2. I'm fine either way. Brought my 360 but I can't hook it up to anything, so I'm weeks out of practice either way.
