I'm a bit confused now. I've been reading these boards for when I need more techincal info, like help getting down FotD and stuff. So far this is really the only move I cant even pull of once, and I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong since I think I'm following the directions exactly as stated. Anyways I'll describe exactly how I'm doing it and I'd appreciate it if somebody could give me the heads up as to what exactly I'm doing wrong.

I do the first 2 inputs before the 1st hit lands, then at that one I either do it instantly, or wait till 1st hit lands, and then do 4123, stop let the stick go to the center and press 6 B in order to precisely time the two's synchronicity. However that vid says do it as fast as possible so I'm left wondering if that means the reason it wont work is because I'm actually stopping and starting a new input, but at the same time thats what the earlier posts say to do, and also they say to wait for the 2nd attack before doing the 41236, hence my confusion. Also its worth noting I do use a 360 controller, but in terms of analog I'm pretty sure thats irrelevant.

Anyways thanks for reading my thing if you did. If anyone could actually teach it to me in person, that would be great, since I tend to learn best from an actual people rather than instructions.

The Dark Wall : Where do you live? Lol.
Also, its because you're pausing in between the 41236 motion :P

Rofl, just read your thing, I too mix up the asura with the asura occasiaonly. Anyways thanks for the tip. However is there any specific time I need to do the half circle or just be accurate with the timing of the B

I live in florida btw, why?

Because you were all "It'll be nice if someone could teach me in person" without hinting where you live :P
Half circle motion has to be done within 5 frames (each direction within 1 frame)

I see, ya not used to that actually since most of the time it isn't a factor I can usually pull a 4 bar on most people regardless of where they live. Seems like this move is more about finding the rhythem of it than anything, kinda like the FotD only trickier. Thanks for the help though.

Ok good god, I just dont think I'm fast enough. As a frame of reference I used yoshimitsu's manji carve fist and said I need to be twice that fact since its 9 frames so close enough. I just can't get a semi circle done that fast. Are you using a stick or a controller because I can maybe see it on the stick but using the 360 analog I just can't see how its possible to go so fast you can do a semi circle in 5 frames. Are you positive it has to be done in 5? Perhaps their is some way you guys hold the controller or something?

There needs to be more research on this. >_<

I just can't do this on this pad of mine. Thumbs are shredded already.

Nobody has footage of their hands up yet?

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, that's fast.

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

excuse my french.

I guess there's no "timing" to it (on screen isn't synchronizing at all looks like)
so it looks like it really is fastest input after all...

uuuggghh, I can just feel the calluses on my thumbs already ._.

I finally got Asura dance down. I can do it consistently in Practice mode now and I can even pull it off in matches once in a while. I use the PS3 controller, for B+K, 6B I use the D-pad and for the 41236B motion I use the analog stick. The trick is to do all three motions very fast, immediately after each other. I used to think that you could pause shortly after 6B, but that's wrong. As soon as you do 6B, immediately go for 41236B with the analog stick.

Another trick is instead of doing 41236, I do more like 8741236 to ensure I got a good HCF. As far as getting the exact timing absolutely right, there is no trick other than go to Practice mode and practice, practice, practice. And then practice some more. Spend 30 mins every day practicing nothing but Asura Dance. I pretty much assure you you'll get results.

Ya I've pretty much given up doing it on the 360 till the sf4 controller comes out.

Finally got it! Though as with most of my execution, I can only do it on stick, lol... My problem was that I was doing 6B too early, I just delayed it a teensy bit off of my typical timing and then the quick HCF is easy.

Thanks for the vids and explanations, I think I'd have given up long ago on learning ASURA if not for this topic. xD

Really the normal version is easy on D-pad just don't rush it and it will alwasy come out.
