Well said.. However, story should run only as Chronicle of The Sword. Think about it, you can pick created characters or original characters in Chronicle gameplay style. Anyone who thinks that's a bad idea must be outta your fuckin mind.
Maybe they should make a Soul Calibur Action RPG game just for created characters? Or a Hack and Slash?

Only with the same gameplay style as how Soul Calibur has always been right? not like 3rd person perspective, cause then that would be entirely out of character with the game itself. They did make it some what RPG type with Chronicle of The Sword, & I loved it when they kept the battle mode the same style, like on the side of the characters when they fight. It gives me the satisfaction to still do the combo's & ass kicking I always wanted.

Chronicle of the Sword.
Or more like this...

Default Characters go by this format:
-Story Mode (Canon)
-Edge Master/Tale of Souls (Non-Canon)

Created Characters
-Of course Chronicles of the Sword. Might take some time to make, but PS sure does need it.

But still, what I was referring to on the "once it was included, SC changed drastically" statement, was not Chronicles of the Sword, nor story mode. People will get salty if I say it. A lot of people will.

I know not everyone enjoyed the RTS style of Chronicles of the Sword, but that is by far one of my favorite modes of all time. It's one of the things that keeps me coming back to SC3 to this day. Such a shame we couldnt have it with the new characters and graphics.

Damn, I'm jealous; I wish I could go back to SC3 & play it again. I still have the game, but not a PS2.

This should be in Soul Calibur VI. It would help PS a lot.

I dunno about that because it might defeat the purpose, I might be like "why not just make one game" scenario unless they go like Tekken and make a SC game solely on CAS with its own story and cameos, then make a REAL game simultaniously. Personally though I want them to seperate CAS from the main series because its honestly taking over the franchise now; even in the gaming media... and most of online is filled with crap thanks to people abusing the mode's accesability.

I was kidding about the "M" rating thing lol i would n't want to nudity in SC. It's better to just leave the "fantasy" aspect in if the players feel they really should start doing nudity in the game.

Anyeay, I just had an idea on how Chronicles of the Sword can play.

-3rd Person Map (The character you pick for your main character is in 3rd person camera and you travel can travel through towns, forests, etc.)
-Same fighting combat (When you approach someone, they engage in battle with you but you can have the choice of accepting or declining the battle until you are ready. When you accept, it prompts a loading screen and then begins the traditional 3D fighter plane. When you win, you gain EXP and Gold to buy items/unlockables)

I think that would be pretty cool and fun. It'll feel like you are on a real quest for Soul Calibur/Soul Edge. lol

That concept means we would essentially be playing Dynasty Warriors 4 within Soulcalibur. While I'm a fan of both games that just seems like a waste of time when I could just go play Dynasty Warriors 4.

Actually you can.
What? up to 4 hits total? Lol Musou doesn't count.

I play as Sun Shang Xiang in that game, she's the fastest & best juggler I have ever seen, & all I could do is 1 hit combo. For anything in DW to be combo's is like where you could take one special attack & use another special attack & repeat about 3 times or so. Ever tried versus? You can't combo once in that game against another player. Why we even talkin about DW? lol (Keep in mind he's talking about DW4). If it was Warriors Orochi, yeah you could combo.

You must not know the benefits of strong attacks that launch.

or better yet, the newly introduced weapon switching.

You must not know the benefits of strong attacks that launch and weapon switching.

Launches were even in DW4, while weapon switching was just intoduced.
You can't switch weapons in DW4 dude. Not like Strike Force can.

Hence the words "just introduced", meaning it was introduced in DW7.

But still, DW4 had strong/charge attacks that launched.
I'd probably agree with you if he mentioned DW7, but he said 4.

It should just be its own spinoff of SCV or whatever next installment, rather than being included in the main game, because of the obvious development reasons, or more like I wouldn't think PS would have the time and money for it to be in the main installment. Would be very nice to play though, and I would surely buy it.

CaS does need its own game though. The very reason Creation was introduced was SC3's Chronicles of the Sword, and the huge amount of guest characters. Since CotS is gone, there is no substantial purpose for Creation besides it being a Casual quirk.

You said "you can't combo in DW" meaning Dynasty Warriors, in general, but I suppose. At least that is what I got from it.

I have played Dynasty Warriors since DW2 and I have been doing combos since then. Even with the big fat retarded dude in Wei. Maybe you just don't understand that infinitely complex game. /sarcasm

I guess they put in a officer attack/defense drop multiplier by landing 32 hits for no good reason. What an idiot...

Sorry about that, I meant 4.
