thats how it goes. the cycle will continue. ill probably think my kids taste in music is crap

Unfortunately. *rolls eyes*
Honestly there may be one. I cured myself of Nostalgia with Li Long>>>Maxi in SCII when I was much younger/same age as some of the people complaining about replacements.

Too bad I can't share that secret as I don't remember. Might have had something to do with Li Long being a pixilated character or something...

I dont know what to pick, I think the game is perfectly fine how it is. I hear rumors say this game was rushed & its no good. Of course, I completely disagree; I think for the future of Soul Calibur 6, they should'nt get rid of anymore characters. I miss Seung Mina...

Also, they should make character creation a ton more exciting in the future (I got atleast 500 creations XD)

What I'd like to see in the Future
1) Seung Mina
2) New Character Creation Options & Styles
3) Chronicle of The Sword (Instead of Story Mode, use Chronicle as your story mode; main character of the story would be one of your created characters, whoever you choose or switch it up & choose the regular characters: Siegfreid, Nightmare, ect., use your imagination how the story could fit well for "ANY" character you choose)(Optional: More CGI cutscenes)
4) New & more modes (Legendary Souls, Tower of Lost Souls, Survival Mode, Team Battle gameplay in Chronicle of the Sword style)
5) Rated "M"
6) Maybe a couple of new characters with new weapons to use as a created character (I also miss using the Scythe)
7) New looks for all regular characters (Possibly more badass & exotic features for the chicks maybe)(That's one of the reasons why I said rated M)
8) More moves & combo's for all players (Ones that make you go like, Guy#1: "HOLY SHIT!!!", Guy#2: "That was badass", Guy#3: "That guy got his shit stomped", Guy#4: "GET OWN3D, WHOOOO!", Guy#5: "RETURN TA DUST! O.O".)

That's what I'd like to see in the future of Soul Calibur 6. Hopefully with less whiners & complainers & sore losers. Oh yeah, to fix that problem, maybe we should get a more advanced training system. One that makes you from Lv 1, private low class, noob - into a Lv Badass Legendary Master of Destruction; Destroyer of Digital Universal Worlds.

Rated "M"? o_ô
To help enforce anything to make the game alot more violent or epic or naked then it already is.

Sure, the game is already heading that direction anyway :V
lol
I know, its surprising the game is still rated "T". With all the sexual exsposure coming from the women, I'd expect as much for this game to be rated M. This game should be rated M anyway, its not going to stop the children who beg from their mothers to go get the game anyway. It's gonna happen, plus it could make the game more.... mature. In a way I guess, I'm not entirely sure how to put it n.n lol.

They should have given us the concept art costumes as CAS parts rather then random modern age fetish miss-mash.
Why have 3rd costumes when you could costumize them anyway? ^.^ Have 50 costumes for that character, meeta. Nobody cares! Also in my report about what I want to see in the future of SCVI had something to do with character creation. It could mean the greatest for us all. Anything that should be DLC is just more & more costumizations. Possibly characters, if Project Soul or whoever makes the DLC is pro enough.

MOST IMPORTANTLY
Next time, I hope they never again make characters that are apart of the game, but are only buyable, not unlockable. Dampierre's decision was utterly stupid, greedy, & selfishly made. I feel bad for anyone who bought that; its like you were brain washed into buying something that should of been unlocked in the game, because he is apart of it. Think about it, you already bought the game, why buy Dampierre? Horrible decision making.

I dont know if I would want to play Soul Calibur anymore if I ever had to buy Astaroth.

I love the idea of a rated M version of this game. my question is, how much would that cut into/raise sales? I think it would raise sales but I'm no marketing expert.
and hey, I know we all love to complain about the CAS mode (myself included) but is there a better character creation mode in any game, ever? I seem to remember WWE had a good one.

It would atleast reduce the abundance of generic and unfitting materials that dont belong in the game. Besides most of the concepts are pretty decent... and logically should have been extra parts.

My concern is with the series finding its identity again. They should really take it more seriously, by creating original characters that add onto the already set stories rather then whatever they did to come up with ZWEI.

APB has the best character creation mode I've ever seen but for a fighting game... I say WWE has the best considering you can also customize the character's intro taunts, entrance, themes and animations.

Now, that I agree with you there.

I'm not saying WHEN the series began to drift away, but I know once this particular mode was included, you began to see a difference in how SC was presented. *cough* You'll see it on SCIV*cough*

I really don't know but SC3's Seemed to fit the game because with COTS it made it feel like it was 2 Games in one. A fighter and a RTS. SC4 brought it back but it was more subtle and just an extra.. where as SCV made the mode too much of a priority. I accept that they wanted to improve it but at the same time it was overmarketed to be the reason why anyone should buy the game. Heck most spokes people only refer to the game by that mode itself. People rarely now acknowledge the series for its characters, as they do tekken or Street fighter.

You mean story mode? That's not what I was referring to.

That is a good point to bring up, however, it still wont stop any kids from getting on their parents asses to buy it anyway. Anyone who is 17 or older, will buy the game, no worries. The sales of the game may differ, but how long is that going to last? Eventually all the kids who wait for the game unpatiently from their parents will soon have it in their hands. Atleast that's how I look at it.

Well said.. However, story should run only as Chronicle of The Sword. Think about it, you can pick created characters or original characters in Chronicle gameplay style. Anyone who thinks that's a bad idea must be outta your fuckin mind.
