Hay how may times have Siegfried destroy Soul Edge? Or Soul Edge was never destroyed? And how many times did nightmare died?
As far I remember. . .

Sophitia destroyed one pierce of the sword in Soul Blade (the female version [!] of the sword). Raphael was the first character who completely destroyed the sword in Soul Calibur II - that's when Siegfried and Nightmare got separated (Raphael Vs Nightmare is also the true destined battle in the game). Nobody destroyed it in Soul Calibur 3 and I don't know about Soul Calibur IV - I believe Sieg destroyed it, but I'm not 100% sure. And I guess we can consider Patroklos and Pyrrha the ones who destroyed Soul Edge in Soul Calibur V.

Seigfried in SCIV destroyed Nightmare/Inferno, but he didn't destroy the sword. That's what I saw in the intro. I may be wrong about that.

Patroklos and Pyrrha destroyed both swords, which was a rushed idea, once again.

The next game (SCVI) should be leading towards their resurrections (or maybe Soul Edge's itself), and then the next few games is slowly leading to the end.

Another idea for SCVII is to have only Soul Edge remain active and characters desperately try find Soul Calibur since that was destroyed, thanks to the Alexandra siblings. Without Soul Calibur, there is no use of destroying Soul Edge.

Of course the SCVI idea can be difficult to do since the swords are the actual protagonist/antagonist of the game's story, but with some thought it won't be too bad. They already have evil/malfested characters from both sides of the world. They need to use that to their advantage. It would be nice to wonder about Voldo's state without Soul Edge around. Does he just sit there, or does he try to find "evil" characters?

Pyrrha becoming Pyrrha Omega again won't be so hard. She just has to fight people, and Tira will try to find her to do it.

If Raphael is Graf Dumas, then the plot idea for Nightmare, ZWEI, and Viola is still active too. Players still do not know about ZWEI and Viola's origins yet.

PS has HUGE potential with the Asian group. Xiba, Natsu, and Leixia especially. I just gave them ideas on that part.

This is rediculas, it looks like Soul Edge can some how reform it self after it got destroyed = = the story would never have an ending. And by the way, I think the story is getting more and more rediculas too, there are a lot of doubtful points and nonsense in the story since the end of SCIV.

Nah, as character, as work behind his concept, as chara design Edgy own Charade in every possible way, by far best mimic ever appeared in a fight game
I disagree. I dont like Edgemaster and his design is so plain, at least Olcadon had depth to his. (P2 outfit) he was just annoyingly cocky. Though he had an interesting back story. Nothing really stands out about Edgemaster other then how generic he looks, they didnt even try to update his design.
Charade?
Give Zwei a SoulEdge as one of his weapons and use a no legs Charade as alt version of Ein :D
I like that idea, infact if EIN could be scrapped altogether then he'd be even better.

Thats why they should have made Nightmare's ending canon, then introduce the next generation, (Leixia / Xiba / Leixia - who are forced to pursue nightmare's energy that destroyed their homes through the 17 years of apocalypse) then make Tira's ending follow (where Nigtmare's body shuts down from the power breaking up his body... ) THEN introduce Hilde (In my vision her father is the new nightmare now-the insane king.) THEN introduce Pyrha, Dampierre and NEW Tira... THEN introduce Patroklos, and Talim... THEN Zasalamel vs Hilde.

As long as Natsu's in the next game, they can do whatever they want with it.
Oh she will. She'll end up having E cup boobs like her master did when she gets older. Now Taki has H in that Legend of Souls artbook.
Okay, I'm only kidding on Taki's part.

But this is all unless Project Soul stays the way they are now and toning the "sex appeal" down a bit, and not force feeding it to us like they did with SCIV.

Heres my idea: - Amy loses her memory from the power of soul edge's force over the land spreading like a plague as Nightmare wanted to do something like create a new world of darkness or something and the damage from the world falling apart has seperated her from Rapheal.... and then she encounters the crystal ball that a merchant who refers to as "Viola" because its purple, and then the ball slowly influences her mind when she touches it... lets say because she is a vampire by now, she had no soul and the ball possesed her body for mobility, and pupiteers her with visions of the "future" by looking into people's souls because of a demon of some sort is inside it lets say. Amy lead away from the area where they once lived and over the 17 years she travelled on her own. She thinks her name is "viola" because of the ball's nickname as she has forgotten her own.

You know. The crystal ball being some sort of entity relating to Soul Edge is not a bad idea either.

Finally something we can agree on.

EIN is fine. It just needs to lose that robotic look, while PS needs to explain how EIN got there. Also PS should have included more options in ZWEI's weapon designs.
I really have no alternative to this, I never liked ZWEI but trying to find that comprmise just brings me into long debates. Especially over his "weapon". I did though would rather EIN be a wolf transformation or something. I just dont like how he works as a floating seperate assist thing. Its just not soul calibur. Its persona now.

The idea of the "spirit of the ball" referred to as "Viola" would be an interesting concept IMO, then Amy fans would be settled. We get both.

So Amy is not dead? A lot of people said that she got killed by Rapheal.

A lot of people say a lot of things like Rapheal being "Nightmare".... even though hes in the game as himself. My own mini-fic says they are the same person for the sake of the fans. People will just say she's dead because they hate her moveset. How shallow.

Hmmmm... It'd be weird if Amy showed up for SC6 and everyone finds out that viola had nothing to do with her.

Characters I want to play in 6:
-Pat
-Hilde
-Yoshi

I don't care if Talim doesn't return, gotta learn to move on. It'd be nice though.

Ummm... I'm not shallow. I just don't think V is A.

Did you ever played Soul Blade? If you finished the game with Inferno (Soul Edge), you'll see in the ending someone finding the sword 400 years later. lol

Edit: Here's the ending:

I was referring to her haters early in Viola's announcement.

She has the least reasons not to return. Her cut was probably just time constraints.
Oh and no one knows and understands why she was booted, most likely because of time. This may also be for the other
characters who don't have replacements.

Is that really the only evidence we have that Raphael is nightmare? If so, it doesn't mean anything. It's just as likely that they slapped Raphs head on there as a placeholder until they were going to model the actual Graf Dumas, then the time crunch came and they said "hell with it, just ship it that way. He has a mask, no one will ever see it."

It's just like if someone managed to unmask Yoshimitsu and we found Talim's head under there. Everyone would be saying Talim came back as Yosh.

Or if we unmasked Kunimitsu and found a NIGHTMARISH WINDOW TO HELL. Oh wait.
