Things to Fix for the Next Update

I'm talking about bugs and balance. Oh, and this may seem to contradict what I said earlier, but I do agree with Neorussel that the game is much better balanced than SC3. Hell, the only reason Mitsurugi stood a chance there was because of VCs.
 
I completely agree. Neither of those make sense, especially the throwing crap. Oh, and I was told it's always been like that in SC games. I don't remember that myself, though.
That's been on of the quirks for a long time. I was annoyed by that feature in SC2 at the very least. The whole you have to sit quietly and let the throw pass is really unintuitive.

The lower tier needs to be buffed. Just some attacks with + frames or something. Can't be impossible to dig Maxi outta the pit.
 
Taki: SHE HAS NO GUARD BREAK!!!

SC3 Possesion Mechanics should be put in game (PO 2K, PO Stalker, PO G cancel). PO Mekki Maru should return (Could possibly be changed to PO 8A).
A+K K should not have so much post lag. A+K K,B should return.
Charge Ninja Cannon should be put into game. 11_77 A should be 11_77 A from SC3.

Stalker Wall Jump should return.

66 B:A should be easier and should connect after WS K. WRS A from SC3 should return. Assassin's Feather (Reverse WR B) should be changed to 236 B, but also take off some post lag from attack and subtract some of the knock back. 1K should hit downed opponents.

Could possibly make a JF version of Possesion.

Sorry iIf these add-ons and changes sound too outlandish. All of these dont have to be in or changed. Most importantly, the PO mechanics should be back and she should have some of her moves replaced with other inputs.
 
Maxi:

BL A needs more range.
PS3 should Auto GI from any stance.
Make sure the frame window after all of his auto GI's are small so that Re-GI'ing is not possible.
Make WL A and BL B neutral attacks again.
Make the K in LO BK a mid again (SC2).
AA and BB should be safe on block.

Tira's Jolly Side 2A+B whiffs for no god damn reason on some characters sometimes....that needs to be sorted out.
 
Cass WR [A] still whiffs randomly depending on amount of charge/position of characters. Sophie too I'm betting but I dun care bout Sophie.
 
Aside from fixing the alignment issues with the ground grabs, give Rock better damage for his regular throws, as well as some better frames on windup for some of his slower moves (44A, 66AB) and perhaps block (6A, 3B). The poor bastard has small enough range on most of his moves, and I doubt it would hurt the game balance to boost him offensively.

Edit: Give him a 22_88A that isn't fucking terrible. I swear, that move is like an iMCF to the balls for Rock players.
 
Fix Asta's :4::4::A: and Air grab combo on Amy.
Fix Algol's bubble issues
Buff Rock, Mina, Maxi, etc.
Nerf Sophitia, Cass, Yoshi (slightly), and Amy (Soul Gauge damage, mostly)
Return Raphael and Voldo to normal as best as possible.
For Christ sakes, add more CAS options. Tired of losing pants...

Fix online. I'm tired of random Network Errors and Disconnects for no reason. Matchmaking is terrible.
 
Talim:

Give her some kind of Auto-GI option
Make 33A safe
Make her moves a little more damaging

Make 66A+B mid
Allow her to cancel of said move also.
 
Rapheal
- Yeah have to agree, i dont understand how someone uses your own style of fighting (Amy) and is much much ( to the infinity) better than you at it. Its like Rapheal picked the worst things about his fighting style and decided that he could win like that. >__>

Misturugi
- 2 K, B need something done to it so it not forever spammed online.

Nightmare
- GS K, K should not pick ppl of the ground, it makes no sense, since the both kicks are mid and yet it can pick someone who is laying on the ground.

Cervantes
-1 A+B that unblockable need to go, useless and anyone can see it coming and punish you for it.
- 44 A+B & 44 [A+B] both can go, for a hold unblockable does not track, and just no point in using it.
- Restore Cervantes 2 A+B from SC 3
- Restore Cervantes A+B BBB & A+B BBA from SC 2
- Restore 1A from SC 3 but dont remove the new 1A maybe expand on either of these 1A for mixups.
- Restore 1a:B+K & 1a:[B+K] from SC 3
- Restore A+K and B+K from SC 3 cause the teleporting is not that great from doing and the GI was a move useful tool, cause the teleporting does not give u any advantage.
- Make either iGDR or aB be a little bit safer.
- Those BT B+K inputs that done after A+B , 3K and 4K, K need to be put in the move list.

Yun-Seong
- Make him better, plz introduce the kid with moves that hit LOW.
- 1K , K needs to be Low then Mid (not Low, High as it is now) cause the 2nd kick goes through opponent body and make sense if mid. Plus would give him good mix up aside from spamming A+K on wakeup.

Zasalamel
-Give him his speed back from SC 3, cause he is shit.
-Give him some of the moves abyss had like 3K , A, B
-Remove that got damn taunt after doing CH B+K, yes we all know "haha so frail"

Too all characters in general
- need to crack upon those move list, cause i know with these weapons you could do much more than i what i see.
- also all those hidden tricks ppl find about certain character about there moves and different ways u could alter them, just put it int he move list.
- Add some new characters.
- Aggre with Cloud073 on this too
I'd would also like that we cannot be thrown from doing 2k, 2A, or 2B. Usually I go for a throw, my opponent ducks my throw and responds with his own throw, so I duck his throw by doing 2K and get thrown despite the fact I am crouching. As throws are technically high attacks this would make the mechanics more consistent. I know this is a big change they made but they should seriously change it back because right now it makes no sense.
 
I think that Throws still need to GI'able. It makes no sense not to able to nor why it was change. Even tho you can still do it with a JF Gi.

Also bring back the old rock paper scissors system. A's beat K's. B's beat A's and K's beat B's...
the simplicity of that system made the game fun and simple.

Fix 8 way run! not the site but being able to sidestep B's and seeing your character move faster and being able to sidestep that move..

This is not a wishlist. This is a glitch/fix thread. I would like Rock's PT to spin 4 times, track 360 and have v1.0 GC, but it's not happening.

Hilde's button input needs to be addressed. If namco does not patch the binding ability on a controller for Hilde, then they clearly don't care about that aspect and we should just let it be.

Maxi not being able to get the 4B> A+K GI is another glitch in my opinion.

The second hit is actually high. If NM uses GS :K::K: outside of a combo, block the first hit, then duck the second, then punish.

As a general statement, a lot of stuns in Soul Calibur make no sense. Like why would an opponent be launched into the air after Nightmare's :3::B: or after Xianghua's :2:_:8::5::B: (at least I think that's the input).

-Make JS 66B HIT GROUNDED, it is vital to her pressure game in JS.

-Make BT B+K, B safer on block, so the mix up is worth the risk and set up.

-Maybe reduce or remove GS damage on block, we all get what the idea is behind it, but her moves aren't NEARLY effective enough to warrant damage to herself on block. If it comes down to a critical point in the match where both opponents are at low life, she is severely limited because of this. If you are unwilling to ditch that, maybe increase the damage she gets from hitting them....something to make it justifiable.

-Give 4A+B tracking until she releases the move (you know, like you do to characters you give a crap about?), the move has very little practical application when you can hold it, and all they have to do is move and she can't track them with it regardless of how long she holds.

-Give the hitbox on [A+K] better range and a longer GI window, you know.... so it's useable...

thx Namco, we love the concept of Tira's style, but you dropped the ball on it's implementation, she seems half finished.

-No self-inflicted damage on block.
-Self-inflicted damage should leave her on 1 HP instead of KO'ing her.

Oh, and standard vertical should not track.
 
No nerfing Cass they just beat her with the nerf bat.
I say nerf Sophi, Mitsu(soley because I have always hated him), and that Ivy ring out from anywhere combo.

Also let's just make Zas have an all around 10 more point frame disadvantage on all his moves soley so I can eat my own words and he actually can get worse.

Let's nerf Setsuka's A+G another 5 points just so we can keep random stupid nerfs going.

Realistly though I want to guard impact throws. I'm forced to duck and this game just pulls you out of almost anything with a throw (including a crouch when I'm not even fucking doing anything!!!!!!)

I'm also sick of my attacks passing right through my opponents especially when that would have killed them but instead I eat a counter and lose.

Ivy-Give Whip better frames, that stance was great and now is just a husk of what it was. Return regular CS range. And give JF 5 hitter a GB or some kind of reward. It's ridiculous that Rock's bullrush (i18) can punish her after a succesful 5 hitter on block.

Mina-4KB NC, nothing more.

Astaroth-Nerf JF command throws. Damage, break windows, something, anything.

Zasalamel-6AB NC and a better CF game.

Rock-Return JF PT to breaking bar at 6 apps. With the limitations of the move's range and Rock's overall unsafeness, it's fair to keep this as good as before.
 
Xianghua bugs to fix :
SXS 3 B on guard , FC 3B dont hit Mitsurugi, Setsuka and Voldo.

For some reasons sometime you can guard the second hit of the Special Throw, i dont know how, but sometime that bug and the guy can guard...

6BA, when A hit ( give +3 ), if the opponent spam attack, that paralyse him ( can give +13 or less ), so maybe a buffering bug.
