Should Just Guard be removed?

Excuse me? Its entirely fair, its a generic tool that everyone has. Sure it benefits the better punishers more but its also a meter battery for slow characters. Case in point Astaroth: Say I'm playing Cervy and he JG's my 3B, do you think I'm not worried about the fact that I now have to guess between his command throws and I've just contributed HEAVILY towards a 66K BE? Because I am shit scared.
Now if you want to talk about slow attacks eg. Asta 44(A) or 4(B) then try semi charging them more instead and see how often your opponent will JG the full version. Its a mindgame.

Someone should create a JG list that has all pros & cons. Someone who's more familiar with it the most. When doing it they should also think of all characters, all possibilities, & all risk & rewards.

Just Guards Pros & Cons
Pros:
Cons:

Whoevers more familiar with JG's like a pro, should list them all & point out the flaws of which ones the most deadliest/rarest point of view from JG's. Then once that's been said, I think this whole community will have a better understanding of how to judge this.

I just think its surprisingly bullshit how my side step verticals are JG'd after stomping on their heads with my Giant Axe when their laying down on the ground "stunned".

Its bull because I just wasted a quarter of my meter into getting it JG'd. All 4 quarters of my meter matters, & they have the ability to sacrifice 1 quarter of it.

No. Not at all. The inherent risk in just guarding is that the window ends if you touch guard. You need the balls to not block, which means random JG's will fail to slower attacks and if mistimed will kill you. Landing a JG is no different to getting a perfect guard in blazblue you already made your read and it succeded, advantage you.

I love just guard because it (almost) always gives me a free stab, and that's why I think it should be re balanced... in the case of playing alpha patroklos, well just guard "just" makes him invincible.

Most of the moves of every single character are unsafe on hit if jg'd, so a little re-balance would be great.
Also, the tech just guard glitch (if it is even a glitch) should be fixed/removed.

Pyrrha's BB is -13 on just guard, enough for a JFTx2 from aPatroklos... it's stupid.

^ I found it way easier to punish after a JG with Viola than aPat. With Viola you could almost always get a 3B launcher out of a JG. With aPat I buffer too soon and may "2" input (as in 214,236) makes me eat an attack unless it just happened to be low.

viola's 3B launcher is i16/18 or something like that so it becomes harder to punish with it, well more like "less easy".
Pyrrha's 236B:4 almost always go for i14 so it could be a better example, a punisher of almost everything (if just guarded) that does 60+ damage. I think you all get what i'm trying to say ~_~

I think alot of ppl would agree that SC should of just kept original costless parries only. Also to make it a little more risky & rewardful.

You just discovered the term "risk/reward" didn't you. That is how your posts read to me.

After you review the functions of JG and GI, meterless GI becomes a superfluous concept. The only reason people want it back is because:

A) They can't just guard.
B) They don't understand the concept of meter management.
C) They don't understand the implications of meter-GI covering H/M/L, and granting a mixup that REQUIRES resources of the opponent to counter, if they can at all.
D) ITS HOW IT WERKED B4 SO Y CHANGE IT

I don't feel that it should be removed, but it can be tough to deal with if you don't practice. After practicing it a bit, it isn't that tough. Don't expect to pull it off online (with a bad connection) because you will set yourself up for failure.
You don't say.... Since when?
Always.

Actually, I just thought it would be better that way, due to some experiences in Legendary Souls. I kinda feel like if CPU's can JG my side step vertical after smashing their bodies on the ground with my axe to make them "stunned", so can a player. It hasn't been done yet, but I feel as if they can do it if their skilled enough. Also, I hate seeing ppl JG me when their backs are faced towards me. JG simply surprises me with the way how it works. Especially when I throw my axe in your face & your back is faced towards me; all of a sudden *JG*.

I felt as if the original costless parries was better, simply because you can't do it while laying down or having your back faced towards the enemy, & there's probably alot more that makes it more legitimate that I'm probably not aware of that JG can do. Also I know how you guys feel about GI's being too easy in SCIV or the previous ones. They were a little bit easy to do. However, I also mentioned that it should be more risky to do as well. To a point where its success is harder then you think. & once you pull it off, your rewarded greatly for a good punishment or w/e you feel is necessary.

Yup, I truly do feel as if JG should go, along with them expensive parries. All 4 quarters of my meter doesn't have enough time to think of spending it on parrying.
