Soul Edge/Inferno should have a move set consisting of moves from Cervantes and Nightmare while Soul Calibur/Elysium should have a move set consisting of moves from Xianghua and Siegfried.

Elysium should get an alexandra inspired style, but not definitely pegged down by any of them.
Souledge's style should be as callous as possible, lots of violent moves e.g Opyrrha's CE, Soulblade jump stabs, floor stabs, pentration, even biting to an extent could be considered

Not true. SCV is the only SC game where he is absent. Not sure if you count Legends.

Nightmare is labeled as "an avatar" to Inferno during SCIII and SCIV. Essentially he controlled Nightmare......I think.

I thought Nightmare was his own entity thanks to Zasalamel resurrecting him through his armor. The last time I remember seeing Inferno in a SC game was in SC2. Don't know what happened to him after that.

But it is not Inferno's actual essence. IIRC, Nightmare is an amalgamation of ghosts of people killed by Soul Edge haunting Siegfried's old Azure Armor. This weird crap is probably Zas's doing as stated by ShaolinTiger. I have stated this Nightmare "fact" before in another thread being unable to confirm it, BECAUSE I STILL CAN'T FIND MY COPY OF SCIII DOG GAMN IT. NM's profile is where I think I got my info. So, Inferno, the essence of Soul Edge, is controlling this "ghostpile" known as Nightmare, but it isn't literally him. An "avatar" is very similar to a puppet, but unlike a puppet, you can see out an avatar's eyes, feel what it feels, et cetera.
The "ghostpile" theory is also why in most games his weapon is listed as "Soul Edge", but in SCIII his weapon is listed as "Soul Edge (Phantom)". He is literally ghosts and memories haunting a suit of armor.
Also important, but you probably already know, SCV Nightmare is a new one different from the SCIII/SCIV one.

Before anything, Algol used soul edge in a good way, his son tried to start shit with it, Algol killed him and made a sword to calm soul edge down "soulcalibur" and sacrificed himself in the process. When the Swords clashed Algol's Soul was able to absorb the energy and created his body from it, but he needed to find the swords to sustain it.
Vercci asked Cervy to find SE, he found it killed everyone, became possessed etc. When Soph, Taki and Sieg killed Cervy
infecting him etc. Inferno is soul edge
SC1 Sieg isnt really char, he is only a costume choice SE controlling NM
SC2 after Kilik, cry baby and maxi stormed the castle, NM weakened Sieg temporarily broke free, but later corrupted hence costume 2 being half NM half Sieg
SC3 Raph and NM fight, Raph weakened NM enough from Sieg to break free and separated soulcalibur from souledge. Sieg attacked Soul Edge sword form, but Soul Edge escaped into the blue azure armor which sieg quickly took off and left. Zaszamel found the armor and created a body from the souls atOstreinsburg. First time Sieg and NM are separate.
SC4 both fight against eachother etc Algol uses imitations until he defeats both.
SC5 NM is so grounded in the body of souls can act without SoulEdge. Graf Dumas acquire souledge and manipulates patty cakes into killing malfested so he can harvest their souls. NM (with a little Souledge in him) and his guys come after Graf to take the partly remade souledge back, pyrrha gets caught up and then turned. While patty cakes has been given SoulCalibur by Soulcalibur ?!?!? Pyrrha is defeated by patty cakes, and both swords end up sealed in astral chaos, where Algol can access them.
Things to remember
Soul Edge origin is unknown it is an entity which takes on the form as a weapon to harvest souls, Algol is the only one who can refuse its control.
Soul Calibur was created by Algol to seal Soul Edge.
Eventually they became fused, hence SoulCalibur later being freed from SoulEdge.
Any mistakes or disagreements please point out, half asleep atm

I'd like a more supernatural or sci-fi female character. Like someone who can teleport at will or shoot fireballs. Natsu and Viola kinda have these qualities but they both look like cosplayers, and Natsu's a kogal to boot.
Also, a chick with lots of guns. I'm sure there's some way to make that work (maybe A=shotty, B=smg, A+B=gatling) :P

But seriously. Last time sci-fi got added to SC, people flipped their shit IN A BAD WAY. And it only got worse when we saw how they played.
I'd sooner see SC go all-out swords and sorcery before seeing another sci-fi character on the roster.
