This is another silly online thread that lets everyone what really grinds your gears when you play online.

1) a lvl 100 guy playing bb A+B kilik!!!
2) if i see one more fucking hulk costume on rock or asty ill lose it
3) A teddy bear costume is just flat out annoying

i kept it short but feel free to let it out
 
Meh, things I hate online...
Kids who play Amy/Voldo/Xianghua/Sophitia/Taki and win by being overly aggressive, to the point where they don't even need to block - and then they taunt or keep attacking or make something flashy because they think they're good.

Ivy... In my opinion, it takes much less intelligence to play Ivy than anything else. Just keep spamming those long ass combos that you've memorized all day long. No need to read, understand or adapt to anything.
Additionally, I wonder why she's not seen as the best character of the game, because I can't see why she'd be so much stronger online.

Why would it be? What more do you need than perform combos that you've memorized and block from time to time?

But since people don't play Ivy that way offline, I suppose that her combos are harder to start offline?
 
She has only a few non stun combos, and of the stun combos, all of them are EASILY escapable, and highs. If your getting hit by a ton of stuff, at range, you just need to sidestep more.... her range game is painfully linear, with as little tracking as possible if any.
Offline she is no harder to play, just easier to read. You can duck the highs easier, and guard her 3 useful, yet unsafe lows.

Break her stuns and the combos suck. Also why don't you try SS or CS and see how easy that is.

I see that she indeed seems to be linear at range... But Ivy's long range isn't really my problem. She has a mad mixup game at close range.
 
im starting to hate ivy, shes such an amazingly solid character... her linear range long range isn't really a problem imo because shes such an effective turtle with her stupidly fast step, you're always the one who has to go to her.
 
You forgot the 100 damage command throw...

Hold G and mash A. Mixup avoided, and your still guarding mids/Highs
CS is an A break, and SS is not available.
 
You know what really grinds my gears online?

1-players with colour blindness.

2-none 5 bars matches.

3-people disconnecting (i don't care for your reasons)

that's all, and yeah i don't hate spammers, because with a good connection they're like 4 years old girls playing with peach CaS characters.

Each throw can only be used in one stance and they each are B or A so it isn't like you should be surprised and grabbed. If it's whip then B if it's sword then A.
 
and i see why your having trouble versus ivy, 1-cause you don't know what you're doing. 2-cause you don't know what hes doing.
bottom line you don't know people playing a good ivy, anyone will have trouble facing any character he don't know, if you don't know her moves how will you know what moves to punish and what moves you don't, simple as that.

As much as I agree with hellbottom, I disagree with his method of flaming. Lets keep the discussion at the least a discussion instead of personal stabs toward someone. Constructive criticism is better than criticism.

1st part of this that it takes less intelligence to play IVY shows that you dont know what the hell your talking about, because you obviously didn't play IVY she's one of the hardest characters to play with in the game, play her and let's see you winning with her. your post only shows that you're a sore loser.

2nd part.. only one word lol spamming long ass combos? what combos are you talking about?? you know that this is SC right? meaning if someone do more than a 2 hit combos on you and you take them head on (blocking it) means you're a fucking noob, this is no DoA and its not tekken either. still i don't know what combo you are talking about this is in general. this is what gave me the impression you dont know ivy, because spamming anything in this game is just saying i'm spreading my legs come fuck me.
 
hellbottom.. .I have already addressed those comments, no reason to go back to them, and be immature about this by resorting to personal attacks. Especially since none of it was provoked. Plume said NOTHING against you, why should you keep insulting?
