Favourite Pokemon

Is solrock exclusive to a version or something? I know i found lunatone in glittering cave but it did take awhile.
i believe so, i encountered lunatones in Y but never really looked really hard though.

So even though Aegislash has good bulk he shouldnt be used as a tank? What you mentioned seems to make a lot of sense, thank you :)
it's shield form can take a few hits, but the sword form is absolutely garbage on defense. that's why you gotta be careful when you shadow sneak with it since it makes you much more vulnerable.

Also healing wish support would be nice for Mega Kanga as well, but I have no idea how I would go about that.. O.O
not too many pokes even learn healing wish, but it's a decent support move. i'd use it with gardevoir (mostly since i don't remeber anything else that learns it lol) and after taking a hit or two, just HW and get that kanga healed up.

I'll have a looksee for you. I still need to get @Kalas sorted. I'm a bit shit.

I'm sorry, I wasn't online on my 3DSxl the whole last week, because I was playing AC4. =(
I still have all the Pokemon you asked me for in a box just waiting for you.

Also, I've bred and EV-trained a Tangrowth and Chandelure, I wanna try them. :)
Next on my list are Bisharp, Cloyster, Reuniclus and Electrode.

I was just looking at some Gardevior stuff actually, im happy to hear she isnt complete shit anymore... I also noticed that Gardevior can help out with Kanga's weakness to fighting and she can check dragons. Gardevior can also be a good sponge and with the trace ability... well that will make things interesting. I should probally look at Gardeviors checks and counters before I go and breed one but it still seems like a good idea to me :)

Not gonna lie, been pretty glued to Bravely Default. I'll have everything caught tonight so, lemme know when you're free. :)

Reuniclus is pretty awesome if it get's some support. As a TR sweeper though... Oh boy.

i really like gardevoir this time around but its mega is kinda crap unless you can get hyper voice onto it....and it only gets HV from the tutors in B&W2 =/ i usually just run a scarf gardevoir and spam moonblast since it's better than psychic in most cases. i'll occasionally run specs gardevoir if i have a tailwind user like whimsicott. it's checks and counters are pretty much any fast physical attacker to be honest, especially bullet punchers like mega lucario and metagross.

Im going to use a physically defensive Gardevior, with healing wish support. Since my mega kanga is a good enough sweeper by itself I wasnt really worried abot making Gardevior offensive to...

Im almost done breeding my ralts, and I already have a handful of spit backs. The rejected babies are calm natured with trace and they have 4 perfect IVs on them so you guys are more than welcome to them if any of yall are in need :)

Edit: Shit I was supposed to use a bold nature but I used calm instead and now already have my perfect baby D: Should I go with it anyways or should I breed for bold instead? :'(

Mega Kangaskhan's fighting weakness...

Mega Kangaskhan is banned from OU. And for a good reason too, he's broken as fuck. PuP, fire punch, Sucker punch and return should be the set you are running in OU. Just PuP something for a +2 and than either OHKO everything that doesn't resist return, if it outspeeds it usually hasn't got enough bulk to survive a sucker punch so then you have to use that. And the only decent counter OU has against it is ferrothorn and that can be OHKO'd with fire punch (Which is pretty much the only reason you should run fire punch) Mega Kangaskhan does fine in Ubers, he OHKO''s a defensive lugia with a +2 sucker punch after rocks which is SICK because Lugia is one of the defensive walls in Ubers >.< Hell, it even kills Deoxys-D with a return on +2. Regirock, shuckle and Mega Aggron can scare it away, Regirock wins in the long run. Shuckle can toxic and powersplit and Mega aggron's defense is WTFH4X. But seriously, using one of these pokes just because you're afraid of Mega kangaskhan is retarded. :/

I thought talonflame was the most used and aegislash was second....
Anyway, aegislash isn't always King's shield, Shadow Sneak, Swords dance and ironhead or sacred sword. It's sp.att is just as good so he can actually play Shadow ball and Flash cannon and go mixed.

Its hard to say what is "Most used" because we have no way of actually documenting what people use on their 3DS.
So I just used the Smogon PS statistics. Which gave me to the conclusion that Aegislash is the most used pokemon because of its high usage in
- OU
- Ubers
- VGC Doubles
But thats kiiiiiiinda cheating, and inaccurate. I was exaggerating a bit when I said Aegislash is the most used pokemon in the game, theres no way we can actually know that question. ;) (?)

Well Smogon's explanation for the ban is quite convincing...

Raw power and bulk, nice speed, Parental Bond (which is like a Choice Band without the move lock), ingoring Substitutes and Focus Sash, big variety of moves, Power-Up Punch = un-Tauntable Swords Dance with damage, 1-2HKO basically everything in the game (even extreme walls) after one PUP, basically impossible to revenge kill (because of Sucker Punch and the fact that it ignores Substitutes and Focus Sash) and the way it restricts team building...

Also, since PokeBank's release I've encountered so many legendaries... and several only-legendary-teams.
To each his own, but c'mon! Legendary only?!

i have a friend who has something like that, but he uses not super-uber legends like mew, celebi, keldeo so it's a bit more bearable plus i don't think he EV trains his stuff either so there's that lol.

I recall getting a lot of hate for using both Jirachi and Registeel in a SS team once. C'mon learn your tier lists, "Legendary" doesn't mean "Uber", psh.

Although it might be fair to say someone using an all legendary team may think they're OP or something. Personally I was never fussed about legendaries unless they had a cool design.

the only time i ever hate playing against legendaries is when i go up against mega mewtwo Y (have yet to lose X so idk if it's even decent), arceus, and other obviously uber legends. i don't get the regi thing though, hell regirock was NU 5th gen! i'm not sure about the other regis, but i think i remember registeel being RU?

Yup, especially towards the end it's lifespan. But legendary clearly means super-stronk =/

Some Legendarys really suck. Like REALLY suck, I personally think Manaphy is trash without the rain up.
Other notable sucky Legendary's includeee
- Articuno
- Regigigas
- Phione
- Kyrume-B(another personal opinion)
- Regirock
- Regiice
- Mespirit
Just to name a few, despite "some" of these pokemon holding their own in lower tiers they are still considered trash if used in the OU metagame.
The whole "OMG YOU USE ONLY LEGENDARRIESSSSS NOOOOOB" topic is complete bullshit.
COMPLETE Bullshit. Pokemon are judged on Stats/Typing/Moveset and usage, having a "Legendary" status in competitive pokemon is meaningless.
Does anyone else have any Legendary pokemon that they think suck balls?

all i have atm is articuno and zygarde.....i hate zygarde, it looks cool but i'd rather run almost anything else lol.. in white i have the gen4 trio, the regis (except gigas),

Does Zygarde even do anything unique? I've not bothered to go catch it yet.

Three common sets.
- Dragon dance sweeper set.
- Tanky coil sweeping set.
- Rest/Talk set with Dragon tail and possibly Glare.

I don't think its the best at any of those sets, and its outclassed in everything.
Although, if you want "kinda" defensive version of Garchomp then use Zygarde.
