I guess he meant something like "you don't understand how it feels to watch on youtube for 3 years straight how asians experiment with the game you highly anticipate, while you can't lay your hands on it, if that happened to SC you would feel the same".

wow, when you put it like that, it still sounds dumb

If their development was in shambles, causing a delay, I'd bet they scrapped it and started from scratch. In my mind, they were going to announce it but knowing it wasn't nearly ready because of their development nightmare setting them back they decided to wait till this winter. Honestly, if this is what happened, I have mad respect for them because some of the fans, on Facebook especially, were getting super violent.

So that crappy Facebook poll 2 years ago mattered?

Some more details from the same person who posted that last leak.
So wait and see ..

Holly hell, i know it's just rumour, but still so exciting, if this V-trigger thing is true, wonder what's gonna be Ivy', and other characters, really hope they'll be very creative with that aspect.

About Kilik it was quite obvious, i mean they can't troll Kilik fans twice by making him clone again, right? And wonder who's dat rival!

Project Soul will troll Talim players. Maybe she might be in the PSX announcement trailer and they'll get hyped up only to realise Talim is once again a non-viable character on SCVI comes out.

I hope with the V trigger thing that it won't be too gimmicky. I don't want to see mine or the other person's character turn bright red like some do on SFV. SC to me is just more serious and doesn't rely on crutches. If they did want to signify a V trigger being in play I'd rather a cool customisable icon pops up next to that character's health bar, or their health bar turns gold.

I'm glad Kilik is back with is moveset, and he has a new rival? Sounds interesting, Kilik personality was kinda boring to me, but the fact that he has a rival will make things a little more interesting around him.
Don't know what to think about the V-trigger mechaninc... Do you guys think something like this will fit in SC?

I think the SCVI V-Trigger like mechanic is the game's Soul Charge.
SCIV - Soul Charge Animation close before Critical Finish.
SCV - Gaining 1 Bar of Meter for free when losing a couple of rounds.
SCVI - Possibly Double Damage

Maybe this V Trigger mechanic could be their way of trying to bring back an alternative to soul charge/making more ways for people to use meter depending on their situation in a match? Perhaps it could be their attempt at creating a comeback mechanic of some kind? I notice he doesn't mention Brave Edges when he states that Supers are back. Maybe it could be something they were looking to rework/change with this game? If this all turns out to be true I am quite interested in seeing what sort of new mechanics are added besides the stuff already mentioned in the post.

Yeah, that's what hope actually, it's cool to take ideas from other games, but Soul Calibur should stay Soul Calibur all the way and not some weird gimmick thing as you said.

Tho i can see Astaroth turning red with his V-trigger thing when he may gain some powerful moves and specials throws, Nightmare's eye would turn Red and will have some smokes coming from him (You know something like Dark Souls's Artoria when he transform in the middle of the fight), i dunno that seem cool to me i think. Ivy's V-Trigger can allow her to use her 2 legendary stances Aka Spiral Tribute and Serpent's Embrace, that she had back in SC2 and that has been removed after and never came back, this V-trigger thing would be really an amazing opportunity to brought back those stances, and even why not some other moves that were removed from the game since a while.

I agree 100%. Astaroth turning red for some moves happened in SC4 + 5 as well if I'm not mistaken so it would just be his cool little character trait. Didn't it signify he ignored damage from an attack before he auto-countered it? :sc5ast1: I'm not bothered about effects as long as they're unique, meaningful, and not cartoony.
