Not really considering the guy who made it is no longer on the team. They were in SCV - most recent game in the series. That already tops all of what Cassy has, because without timeskip/timeback they can't be just thrown out. And judging by leaks nothing as drastic will be done.

I’ll honestly be disappointed if Cassandra doesn’t return in SC6, as she and Tira are the only female characters in SC I really like and is the only Greek aside from Pat I even use. If she returns they may give her a purpose in the story due to her currently being stuck in Astral Chaos. They were in SCV - most recent game in the series. I'm still itching to see the vampire angle to alternate the influence of what Soul Edge manipulates or effects similar to things done in Devil May Cry. Other factions of different supernatural aspects branching outward. I know it exists somewhat but I think the characters should have more to do with representing that, like having a character representing Astaroth's cult creating him as a sub-antagonist.Most character have "nothing going on with them" in SC. Serv, Mitsu, Ivy - just a few out of my head that do nothing in the story for last 2-3 SC games. Most of SC characters are completely underdeveloped, but story never was a strong point of SC - presentation were. And Amy as of now have enough reasons to return in SCVI, her Viola's self amnesia could be exploited to make and interesting background for it though.
We don't know much about what's going to be done based on the leaks. Considering that retcons are in place that could mean anything from using Astral Chaos to return to the old time or bringing the old characters back to the new time or anything in between. Seeing as how Kilik is returning to the staff that already raises a bunch of implications about the new characters from the last game. They were in SCV - most recent game in the series. That reminds me, I didn't notice how weird the sound effects are in SCV design. Why do the slashes have a chirping sound on contact and why do the shield hits sound like blunt punts? I kinda hope they fix that.Actually Cassandra was in Soulcalibur: Lost Swords
She was actually in Lost Swords. I think she'll be in SC6, as a replacement for Pyrrah Omega or so.
Oh, I'm a blind idiot with weak memory then.Actually Cassandra was in Soulcalibur: Lost Swords
As long as they are different enough this shouldn't be a problem even if there is 4 of them. Pat and Sophie could be in unchanged, Cassie could get a new weapon and moveset, Omega could become more demonic and use more of her hand - which also gonna make her unique enough. That way it would actually be cool.4 Greeks would make me cry. 1 is enough, 2 is almost too much.
They still have to work with what they are left with. It's not like they will say "SCV doesn't exist, now let's continue from here". Also as leaks say it's still a continuation of SCV.Not really considering the guy who made it is no longer on the team.
It's not like they would just completely ignore SCV, but they could use Astral Chaos shenanigans to partially neglect SCV's destructive influence on story and roster.Considering that retcons are in place that could mean anything from using Astral Chaos to return to the old time or bringing the old characters back to the new time or anything in between.
Kilik using staff is not that big of a deal, judging by how he is with it on SCV character art - he most probably just wasn't finished in time and became a mimic due to rushed development. This doesn't really poves anything regarding roster and retcons.Seeing as how Kilik is returning to the staff that already raises a bunch of applications about the new characters from the last game.
In LS sound of nearly everything was very weird, but I don't remember any problems with SCV's sound. That reminds me, I didn't notice how weird the sound effects are in SCV design.
Pyrrha Omega should be the one to get a weapon change, considering shes the newbie. It defeats the purpose of wanting the original characters back just to change their weapon. Not to mention though its more plausible to change Pyrrha because being malfested itself changes her character. As long as they are different enough this shouldn't be a problem even if there is 4 of them. Its not the sound quality, its the sound effects used. Much of them are different from the other games. It might be part of the cartoony style SCV was going in.In LS sound of nearly everything was very weird, but I don't remember any problems with SCV's sound.
Fixing the lore before releasing the game is much simplier than giving him a proper moveset. It's not like they could've done something as dumb as making him a mimic and then pretending that he is not one. The only part of his lore that's most probably "canon" is that he became a hermit and started his training to "protect the world from Astral Chaos "influence"" or something like that.it's written in the lore
As I said, I'd prefer Omega to drop the shield and become more Nightmarish, but Cassie needs to change her weapon too because we already have Sophitia and Patroklos as S&S users. Tree times of the same weapon is stupid and Pat's moveset is too unique to change/cut.Pyrrha Omega should be the one to get a weapon change, considering shes the newbie. Obviously, staff, like he always done and how it is depicted in the art. Then what do you think he used?
Not likely since Xiba used the staff, was meant to be his successor, and Daishi was like "NO CLONEZ!".Obviously, staff, like he always done and how it is depicted in the art.
The way Pat fights is a lot more vicious when compared to Sophitia’s grace and Cassandra’s momentum. Plus it reflects the more hostile side of his character. As I said, I'd prefer Omega to drop the shield and become more Nightmarish, but Cassie needs to change her weapon too because we already have Sophitia and Patroklos as S&S users. But Xiba never has the Kali-Yuga staff with him unless it’s in the story mode or you give it to him in creation. In fact as long as no one had it you could even see it in the second phase of Kilik’s home stage. Not likely since Xiba used the staff, was meant to be his successor, and Daishi was like "NO CLONEZ!".
