I think SC2 Mitsu was one of the greatest. The stance play in combination with the buffered JFCs from his stances where simply amazing to watch. Also he had insane basics. Did you ever watch Cuongster play Mitsu in SC2? I feel like we had this discussion before :)
Mitsu in SC4 was cool, but SC4 was just so fucking slow. The guard break mechanics were horrendously bad, imo the worst just next to Just Guard. Just ruined the whole Game for me even though i played it quite a bit.

As long as Namco supports the next game for more than one half assed shitty patch it will be ok. The rest doesnt matter to me. Just dont stop after one shitty fucking patch this time please.
Oh don't get me wrong, I still think overall for the system that they were in SC2 Mitsu was the best. But towards the 2nd half of that games life cycle you really got relegated to 2A, AA, 33K, 22A, kB(2), etc. SC4 Mitsu was so frustrating to play but his stance game was used (and had to be used) and remained viable throughout the games lifespan. And also I was just talking about fun factor. Hell his aGIs which I enjoyed to pull off really weren't the optimal thing to use in a lot of situations but damn it was satisfying to get them off. If were talking about his basics then hell yes I want SC2 Mitsu's basics. And while JFC and all his other stance shenanigans were fun I still enjoyed the rushdown aspect of his stance game in SC4 ala Belial. I'm definitely only talking about the fun factor of the stance game in SC4. Everything else, I'd definitely pick and choose from the other games versions of Mitsu.
 
Reverting Aeon back to a poor man's greek who stands more upright would be a terrible decision. His Kratos inspired moveset fits so well. I prefer him having dual axes instead of another sword/axe and shield user, we have enough of that. I'd much rather they just add some of his old stances and moves to his existing style. He has wings and breathes fire now!

I do kind of prefer his older moveset. His new one is flashy, but feels heavier. I'd have preferred for them to keep axing the legacy Alexandria moves while replacing it with his own stuff, rather than getting rid of a bunch of his own stuff to implant moves from yet another character. A half-reversion could work though, pairing the good from SCV's Aeon with the good from SCIV's Lizardman.

The wings never fit for me, especially to be so birdlike on what’s clearly a reptile, but there are enough “& shield” characters.

Feathered reptiles aren't exactly an outlandish idea. I mean, he was already doing that back in SCIII

Bring back the crawl stance plz.
 
It just occurred to me that even if they brought Kratos back, he'd probably be based off of his forthcoming appearance in the new God of War (4), where he's equipped with a single axe.

He'd probably end up fighting more like SCIII-SCIV Lizardman than Aeon himself does.
 
It's a shame that American fighting games get more attantion nowadays than japanese - Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct and Injustice
First off, nobody gives a damn shit about Killer Instinct. Second, what do you expect? Most japanese games aren't made with western audiences in mind (developers bring no form of hype anywhere outside of Japan aside from actual releases) and when they do, its Capcom making half-assed garbage games, SFV is an incomplete crap that doesn't have Arcade mode to this day and is only DLC setup, and MvCI has the worst roster decisions of all time in a fighting game and mobile graphics, not to mention both games have garbage "story modes". So, excuse the western audiences for liking Netherrealm's well polished games with good in-game and extra content and excellent stories.
 
It could have been great, but it took many wrong steps. The only way the game could be saved is, maybe, releasing it for PS4 and Switch, and even that may not be enough.
Ok that is fanboyism at its finest. It's not on PS4 and Switch because Microsoft owns it. Should Uncharted come to Xbox, should Mario come to PS4? Do people even know how this works?
 
Tbh i'm not too much into Guest characters, but i'm fine with SC6 having guest characters (not too many tho) as soon they fit, and also they won't be a part of the canon Story of the game like Akuma in Tekken 7. (So f*cking weird and nonsens if you ask me)

I honestly just don't want him to have a shield again. But if they do give him a shield back then I'll be okay with them adding SCV moves. I need 1B BE :) Also yes lizard crawl would be awesome to have back but also I really want them to expand on Sand Winger as a stance. There's so much they could do with it.
 
I hope they don't go overboard on guest DLC. Imagine if on the roster you had:

Geralt of Rivia
Gabriel Belmont
2B
Kylo Ren
Batman
etc
 
I think they should do like MKX and Injustice 2, means putting all Guest Characters into DLCs.

If the roster will have like 25~30 character. Having 2 guest characters in that case could be fine.

I ask if YOU know it. Games are not made exclusive just because a company that owns the console also owns it, do you truly think Bayonetta is owned by Nintendo? Even if its not an exclusivity contract, Microsoft did not always own Killer Instinct, and could easily sell it again, specially considering its not doing that well. Also, yes, Mario should go to other consoles, Nintendo's gimmicky consoles only survived because of these exclusives, but they also ruined many games that could have been awesome (latest Star Fox, for example). Nintendo would be much better if they were just game developers.

That is a bad idea, specially on a game that must compensate the failures of its past titles. Guests are meant to attract players to the game itself so the game can maintain a playerbase with the rest of its content and make said playerbase buy the DLC content, guests are, essentially, a bait.

Sell KI? That's dumb to sell any of your IPs that'll draw people to your system. Also it went on for 3+ seasons for years so I'd say it's just fine. You clearly have no idea how business works if you're saying stuff like that.
