I'm just talking about the time period and who is of age to be in it. Zas definitely fits, and Tira almost definitely fits, but a young Sophitia standing next to her own grown up children? I highly doubt that.

Yeah, I see that and agree with it. But you also said Amy wasn't likely, either. Not necessarily the case.

@Malice It could just be the equivalent to the Armageddon tournament scene from MK9 and it won't be part of the story itself but the backstory. Let's wait and see.
 
So the question is: what is the potential next reveal/information? I assume Namco’s event is going to give us more info about characters/ but not necessarily story. Like a reveal of 3 or 2 more characters (one being Kilik’s Rival)
 
Didn't @Vergeben say that they'll continue on the same timeline? (So far, let's believe everything he says)

So either it's a reboot, in which case, characters are only 4 years younger than their SCIV appearance and we might have some mising (like Amy), or it's a MK9, going through different parts of the whole SC universe, and reach an after-SCV era with newcomers and older characters (maybe with younger and older looks?).

Anyway, I'm just happy that the game is announced and that it looks gorgeous as hell!

BTW, is something else amazed at that little nod at the beginning? Mitsurugi saying "The wait is over" was like a warm hug on a cold wnter night!

He said there were retcons, and that can mean something massive. For a comics example, Flashpoint was a retcon event that changed the entire DC Universe. MK9 was a retcon that changed Mortal Kombat forever. So maybe this is the retcon.

He's just utilizing a different technique than usual for this game's official art.

Don't look too far into this because I haven't heard anything about it, but the associated animals with characters thing they seem to be pushing would fit perfectly with William from Nioh....

He acts like kind of an edgy asshole or something. Which fits with him being an assassin and having a vendetta against Kilik.

Yeah after the initial hype for the game reveal we can delve into more technical game mechanics. I hope we all remember that jG in the SC5 trailers looked way different (aka outlandishly worse) than jG in the final game. I really like how the special parry looks at the moment.

Hum sounds interesting. Trying to think about FG characters that may have this kind of profile, i would say Urien maybe.
 
BY THE EFFING WAY!

I've seen someone talking about Pat-Alter... Remember when Vergeben said that Kilik's rival and the other newcomer were connected (and somehow hinted they were male and female)? WHAT IF! They are considered newcomers because of new story and fighting styles but are actually Patty Cakes and Pyrrha going back to time and being "corrupted" by Astral Chaos and Pat Alter is mad at Kilik because he was the reason why Sophitia died and so he wants to kill him because he wants his beloved mom?

Remember, you've read it here first!
