So the grip on Mitsu's sword is purple. Which would make it Korefuji. He lost that weapon at the end of Soul Edge against that Teppou-Hei guy with the tanegashima rifle. He had Shishi-oh by the events of the first SoulCalibur. How far is the time going back?

Well according to Namco, Soulcalibur VI will be a retelling of Soulcalibur I. So I doubt it will be the story of all games, but maybe it will be.

Soulcalibur could be referring to the series before SCV. Especially since leaks have stated Talim, Tira, and Zasalamel are in it.

That's what I was thinking, maybe when they refer to "Soulcalibur" they just mean the entire series. Which means the MK9 route which I would personally prefer because we would get a huge cast of characters!

I would use the "likely" category very sparingly, generally based on characters that have direct relations to currently confirmed, leaked confirmed, or are characters that are basically impossible to replace for no reason (i.e. Voldo).
For example, from Soul Calibur 1
The only characters I would put in the non-leaked likely characters at this point are Maxi, Cervantes, Voldo, and Nightmare. That is it, I would not even include the others many think will likely return.
But I feel a better maintained list would be factual based or we will have endless bickering. Mainly: Confirmed, Leaked, Unknown, Confirmed Gone.
