After watching Aris video i realize that the camera was way more closer than it looked at first, maybe even similar to SC2's. It goes far only when character are on the limit on the map/close to the ring out which is a good thing as an indicator i guess. I'm really happy about that aspect being conserved from SC2.

@Vergeben Do you think it can be good to do a video wich sum up the Community Suggestion/Needs ? I want to do that for the French Community at least.
I think it'd be a great idea. There are a lot of desires and things that are pretty much required for SCVI to be as successful upon return as they'd like it to be. So it's good to put something out early to hopefully steer them in the right direction in the event the new Project Soul doesn't already have the general ideas and guideline for success, so to speak. I do have faith in them. But it's always good to try and condense the suggestions and needs in one place.

It was confirmed he left, it was as well officially stated in Soul Wiki.

Agreed since i think Hoshino did well in SCV, the only main problem in this game was the roster. To be fair, the guy didn't have enough time to prove himself. When you think about it, Harada got a bit lucky since Tekken has the many years Arcade Cycle, wonder if even Harada can handle well a straight console Project. If Tekken 8 will happen it has chances to be a Console straight game, and that would a first time ever in the franchise, gonna be interesting too how Harada and the Tekken Team are gonna handled it. (It definitely won't happen soon tho that's for sure)

And speaking about Harada he seems explaining in his last tweets that he and Tekken Team are helping PS mainly in the technical aspects of the game, that's great, i love of course Tekken but i want Soul Calibur to keep having its own identity and presentation.

Tago was the SCV producer.

I don't seem to remember any canonical win vs Nightmare. The city is correct though.

Didn't he beat Nightmare at the end of II, turning him back into Siegfried? Or are we not fully counting that because Siegfried was starting to regain control and screwed things up for Nightmare?

No, he didn't win. But, he did severely damage Soul Edge by stabbing it in the eye.

1. The weapon have the blessing, not Sophitia herself, so the logical assumption is that Cassandra likewise got her immediate skills from that, since she went on a journey with the holy weapon first.
On top of that, it seemed to be a rather broad enchantment since Cassandra was going directly against Haephestus when she took the weapons to go off and fight since she didn't like that Sophitia had been stuck with being the god's chosen.

Aris is an idiot on this subject. Given you can G cancel movement again, getting hit by that CH is your own fault.

I don't agree with everything Aris said. But there are points where i agree with him. Getting CH property when moving 8wr is really a weird concept imo. I remember that Evo Finals Tira VS Cervy where it was really not that spectacular and too boring to watch, the match was too linear and the characters weren't moving at all, super weird for a supposed "3D" Fighting Game, while SC2 matches are still spectacular to watch.

I think they should give some CH damages for punishing 8wr but without the properties that can give more damages and combos after.

But i'm not so if that punish was for 8wr, the guy playing Sophie could have push a button right before getting hit.

Things that are confirmed to be in the game and that i don't like much so far in the Armor explosion thing. As mentioned before barefoots Sophitia looks a bit off and weird, i they want SC6 to have that epic atmosphere they'll need to change that aspect.

Citing an Evo match from 2012... Good grief. The game was basically brand new at that point. The meta has evolved quite a bit since then. 665G negates the run counter. Look at the last NEC or something and tell me people don't move in SCV.

And again, that's not an issue in SCVI as is since you can G cancel sidestep. So if you do get CH, that's your own fault for not paying attention.

Early or not Evo 2012 was still a very high level tournament and where all basic concept of the game will shown themselves, i didn't followed much the tournament scene after early 2013, maybe the game developed more a bit, i'll take a look at those nec tournaments, but i still think that 8wr should not be punish by ch property/combos and such, for me it doesn't stand at all for a supposed 3D fighting game.

I didn't knew about this good point, that could solve the issue maybe.

The heart desires a release before Evo so it can have a presence at the worlds largest fighting game tournament, but I also don’t want it to be released before it’s ready a la Street Fighter V...

I’ll throw my hat in with the, “it will be a Fall/Winter release,” group.
