I want bigger move-lists in the form of more stances that are useful. Plus, even though a lot of those moves aren’t really used, they are predominately there for unskilled/ casual players to always have more options — and to be frank — how hard is it to include moves when most of the characters are legacy

I'm so excited for the rest of this month. Guaranteed we're going to get a character reveal or two from now till the 26th, 25th All stars 3 comes out, 26th and 27th is Evo and we'll get news and footage from that hopefully. Ahhhh, my gay ass is hyped.

SC4's huge movelist was stupid.
Movelist itself can't be stupid only human can be stupid.
Why waste resources and time on moves that no ones gonna use? There was absolutely no reason for a movelist bigger than SC5's. People always cry "creativity" but that doesn't make any sense. In every single game, characters come down to their best, let's say, 10~15 moves, and even that's a stretch. Sophie: AA, BB, grabs, stab, 4B, 66B, B+K, 66A, profit. Amy: 3BA, 33B, 66A+B, 2B+K, 1A, profit. SC2 X: 22B, 3B, 1A, 3A, profit.

It's like why do you need 7 different stepkillers when only one of the is going to be the best which you should use in every situation you want to stepkill?? Why do you need another shitty low? Why do you want a cluttered movelist which will not add "depth" to the character? Most SC5 characters use much less than half of their entire movelist because they don't need it to win. Viola has so many shitty moves I would never throw out, and if this was SC4 then she would just have three times the amount of shitty moves I'm still not using lol
Because SC oriented not only for competitive players but also oriented for casual players. You will not use these moves but others will use them. You can say same about characters, you have your favorite characters (Viola?) and you don't care about others. All my favorite characters were removed and returned only as movesets in SCV because "someone" said they are "irrelevant".

Why even have 30 characters, when most serious players are just going to play the 10 best ones? Why waste the resources? Just make 10 good characters.
These things are not comparable. Characters have many other things that brings their usage, and they're not made for tournaments only, they're made for all the millions of people that will buy the game, and most of them play all the characters. Movesets, however, easily go to waste, because not only do they require resources for animations, testing and balance, but they may not even be used, even by tournament players, let alone casuals.

Unless you are referring to Devil Jin I'm not sure what you mean by this.
My favorite characters in SC Zasalamel, Setsuka, Cassandra and Sophitia. Zasalamel's moveset was cut completely, Setsuka's moveset was added to Pat, Cassandra and Sophitia's movesets were added to Pyrrha.

Adding to this, calling Xiba anything close to Seong Mi-na or Leixia anything close to Yun-seong is just an insult.

Thats because they play a lot more like Kilik and Xianghua, respectively, rather than Mi-Na and Yun-Seong.
Right, but the point is that Seong Mi-na and Yun-seong were cut, and I've been told several times to just play Xiba and Leixia instead since they were incorporated into their movesets and just no, it's not the same, not even a little bit.

The only case where a big movelist makes sense would be a character like Ivy pre SC5 since she had three different stances.
Imo..Misturugi's moveset in SC5 was stupid..it was like playing sc1 rugi.he had alot of useful moves/stances/ auto GI's in SC4 and then they just took that all away in sc5. It was boring and lazy. I'm not sayin the more moves the better..but takin away moves that make the character who they are is just. But I do agree with you to some degree. The only cryin I really see are people that just want I don't have to use my brain mechanics..lol let's just keep dumm in down the game..yeah for what? Oh so a casual player can feel like they're on the same level as a pro..makes no sense. If that's the case then they need ta put in the time and learn just like the pros did..js

I think you are right.
They should also make hentai scenes for victory poses to cater to casuals
