I can't think of an event in February where they can drop the next trailer. I guess it's gonna be out of the blue. The whole valentines day thing seems like a good time since it'll be mid February, but idk if they'll really go with that.
 


Nightmare's A+B in Soul Charge Mode upon aGI turns into a Lethal Hit. Nightmare's 2A+B now turns into an attack throw on a standing opponent & gives him Terror Charge & gets 1/4 meter just like in SCV. Nightmare's 2nd hit of his AA is 11_44_77A in SCV. Nightmare has a new 6AA that's a NCC. Nightmare's CE is an aGI & can be charged to become an unblockable. Nightmare's 2nd hit of 4KK is his WS A in SCV giving him NTC. Nightmare's 6BBB in Soul Charge Mode or Terror Charge make it do multiple hits & is the last hit is a Guard Break. Nightmare's 2B+K is a quake stun without Soul Charge Mode or Terror Charge. In Soul Charge Mode, Nightmare's 66KK is NC.

Hopefully DBFZ's means they turn their full attention towards SC6. I'd love for a release date and character reveal schedule. A beta would be amazing too.

Edit: @Nightmare966 Ornstein would be cool, seeing as how we have only one other spear character, and even then Hilde has a sword too, so he'd fit I believe. 2B could go with a giant axe or even switch between weapons which would be perfect for the whole multiple movelist thing they wanted to do.
 
Could somebody please help me with a few basic questions and clear up some confusion?
1) Which moves use up meter?
2) Any significance with 1 vs. 2 meters?
3) Does Soul Charge cause some characters to glow blue and others to glow red (notwithstanding the guard break moves having a blue glow)?
4) Does Nightmare have an additional move that makes him glow red similar to Soul Charge?
 
Valentine's day would definitely be a nice time to reveal characters. That or maybe Taki and Yoshi on Japan's Foundation day or something. I just hope it's not another 6 weeks until the next reveal, even if it's just one character.

1) Soul Charge and Critical Edge both use one meter.
2) You can save up to two meters to use two of the listed in rapid succession, so you could Soul Charge then when it's nearly up you could Critical Edge or you could do two Critical Edges back to back.
3) Soul Charge color does seem to vary based on the character but with Kilik especially his is special, he "transforms" into Evil Seed Kilik and gets a special Critical Edge that doesn't cost meter but his health constantly drains.
4) Any of Nightmare's orb explosion moves will give him a temporary one-time-use Soul Charge attack.
 
With the way it looks armor breaks, I'm kind of scared of what's going to happen to those two ladies, plus Voldo and Astaroth if he goes back to the speedo. Sounds like Ivy and Taki might be getting hinted at and they're generally early reveals (with trash ninja Barbie instead for V)

That's the point: he is teasing armor break for girls, so if he is teasing it now it means that we'll get some announcement soon (because "you will see other armour breaks until release" would be quite the cheap announcement).

So it's full for speculation: if you like armor breaking, be prepared as you will soon see something better than what we have.

Current roster is 4 men and 2 women so it makes sense for the next two to be females to balance it out. Valentines Day gimmick could be a thing after all. If Ivy and Taki are usually early then that seems like a safe bet, though I'd rather instead of Ivy it was someone less obvious to be in.

I just can't get enough of watching this game. It's all I do anymore. I'm worried that when I finally get my hands on it, it'll feel underwhelming 'cause I've already seen it all, lol.

I did spot this though:

So it seems there ARE non-standard Versus modes but they're accessable after selecting 'Versus', so the two spots beneath Versus must be new modes entirely! At least I hope!
