Most Esteemed One-Shot Contest (Now in 4k!)

Samira is an Eastern European hunting for Soul Edge and all she wants to do is complete vaguely plot-related sidequests and TAS B punk ass bitches. And she's all out of sidequests.

I had almost the same base for my Kalisto CaS, even the same weapon. If I'd seen this first, I probably would have redone her. Just curious, how did yours start? Weapon, armor? With mine, it was pretty much trying to use that ancient tribal set on a non-lizard character, the rest just built up on that.

Uhh I guess I'll contribute to this thread...here's mine her name is Trynn and she thinks she is a leprechaun. Don't try and tell her that female leprechauns don't exist...you will regret it.

I did the same actually! The design came out of my want to use the tribal set with an evil character.

Hi, i was told i could post my LoS char here as well :

Araven is my LoS character, well her name is pretty self-explanatory, so carrion with your guess why / review :)

Evil sorceress she commands an army of ravenously hungry half-crows (or half-human) mercenaries in jet black armor...preying on corpses after batlle. She can turn into one two, giving her bird's eye view and strategic advantage, and her orange gaze can get under your skin like a sharp beak. Fear Araven, master of crows...and lover of Tira...
want more pics, refer to my main thread :)...

Guess I'm technically past deadline. Hope it's okay to post my entry.

Since LoS occurs in India, I wanted to make a character from that setting, especially since SC has not had any South Asian characters in its cast. I thought a Kalaripayattu practitioner would fit the bill, so I used that as a jumping-off point. And so, I made Jayanti here to be the heroine of my LoS campaign.

This is my first post of the SC6-era, so I just wanted to say that I'm happy to be back and to see some familiar names, even some newcomers as well! I'm much more busy nowadays than I was during SC5, so I can't be as active, but I'll be checking in every now-and-then. I'm happy to be in a One-shot Contest again! Good luck and congrats to us all!

Awesome job, guys! Holy shit, I got my ass handed to me on a silver platter this round. With drinks AND a side of fries.

Ok, so voting begins now! It will last until Saturday, November 3, 11:59PM, EST.

My vote goes to Norik's Zeldor. Everything from the hair, tattoo, armor, and coloring is in perfect alignment with the elf ranger theme. Not too simple, not too fancy. Just the right level of detail, head to toe. Also he has a distinct "main-character" kind of vibe. A kind of scrappy, determined, and unassumingly heroic demeanor, which comes from the functional equipment and facial tattoo.

A close second was for Pascuzzi's amazing Jayanti. I've never seen a sari done so effectively before. Very cool how he combined the toga with the skirt using stickers and closed off the seam with the belt.

Thanks for the comments!

My vote goes for @NeclordX's barbarian (does he have a name?). It's a straightforward design with just the right amount of complexity, a modest and effective color scheme, and a creative use of stickers for his scars. In a way he almost seems like a perfect foil to my own main character (barbarian vs elf, bulky vs nimble, Geralt vs Mitsu, red vs green, scars vs face paint, etc), which makes him stand out to me in particular.

Good luck to everyone!

My vote goes to @VILARCANE's Araven. The hair-ExEq combination and use of stickers over the eyes and in combination with the clothes cohesively support the presentation of a crow-commanding battle sorceress. I suppose I would've liked to see a little more color, but that's only nitpicking. Well done.

Honorable mentions, in posting order:
@brucege's Lolys (lolis? lollies?): Looks fun! The outfit gives a clear impression of an adventurous tinkerer. Plus points for introducing the fruit of your creative faculties as "Ok so this ho is..."

@NeclordX's barbarian: I think I remember a previous version of this CaS from back in SC5. Anyway, he looks great in SC6! Clever use of the patch sticker as a big scar adds a ton of uniqueness to this character.

@Gaahl's Gaia: Despite use of Aval coat and armor, their placement on a slim frame makes a great example of a winter/armored assassin character. Very nice.

@Alexandra's Samira: A close second for me! I don't understand what's Eastern European about her, to be honest; I get more of a "Xena: Warrior Princess" vibe, but she is beautiful nonetheless.

@Norik's Zeldor: I think I remember a previous iteration of this CaS too from SC5. It's because of the shoulder pocket sticker. Take it as a testament to this design's uniqueness.

@The_Weasel's metallurgist: Another favorite in this round! I very much get a Mad Max kind of impression with this one, due to the rusty gear sword, frayed coat, and Warlock Slacks.

It's hard 'cause there's a few that I like equally T_T

I'm going to go with NeclordX because I love the attention to detail with the skin burns.

My second choice was Gaahl's Gaia 'cause that design looks really cool.
