Talim game play

Not really a Talim playing. Just trying her out. Any tips? Idk why but I'm really intrigued by her ability to cancel her reversal edge into her stance.

Nice matches. Always good to see.

My take away: WR-A in neutral as a sweeping mid. Guess I never thought of using it for stopping stepping in neutral, but there ya go. She needs a mid like that, so I'm certainly going to use that more. I think only her 3K covers that base as well.

Yeah, instant Rising A has been a staple mid of hers since 22A became unsafe. 3K is actually good in this game since it seems to track both sides like a true horizontal.

Solid showing Zero. How much experience do you have relative to the rest of these guys? Seems like you have some time under your belt. Do you main anyone else?

Compared to the rest of which guys? I've been competing since SC4 though.

Oh, lol. I thought you meant compared to the people in this forum.
Other than Linkorz and Saiyne, most of these guys in the tourney either started at the same time as me, or even earlier.

Thanks for the footage. Even if I think my spacing is fine, since that carries over from 2D games, when to step and not is something I'm not too good with yet. So it's nice seeing your movement around the map against someone like Ivy.

Yesterday, I was at the Space City Beat Down tournament and tied for 5th place. The general consensus from everyone I talked to was that no one apparently knew how to fight Talim.

Unfortunately, due to DBZF taking longer to end than originally anticipated, only the top 4 SC players were streamed playing and the other Talim player didn't make it to top 8. But some stuff I did notice was that people seemed to give up on trying to break out of the second part of BT 4A+G and that most people wouldn't try to tech against me (my memory is awful, sorry).
