Taunt Spam Tier List:

S Rank
Lizardman, Algol, Hilde, X, Yun, Cass

A
Yoshi, Maxi, Zas, Tira (JS), Sophie, Ivy, Yoda, Mitsu

B
Voldo, Raph, Kilik, Rock, Vader, Cervy, Amy, Starkiller

C
Mina, Taki, Nightmare, Siegfried, Asty, Talim

I agree with this tier list, but am disappointed at Asta's placement. Dismissive wanking motion = asura tier.

It's all about options. You've got your taunt spam, self ring-outs (even more extra points for creativity, or humorous fall animation, like Kilik MO K/9K off the edge), CF animation, 360 breakdancing (do it with Raph), maybe even body hits if your opponent lets it get them angry. No teabagging, though (unless you're 12).

I'm very easily entertained, and find the above humorous (even more so when taken seriously), whether it's me doing it, or someone else.

Screw the fighting, when the round's over is when the match really begins.

I had this idea a while ago that I still try to mess with (dunno if this has been mentioned in the thread already).

At one point, i tried to use some taunts for spacing.

Like, cass's taunt, for example. After getting FC 1B, alot of the people I played against would block and wait for a mid or a grab (which they should) I was tryin to figure out some way to get them to drop their guard or to atleast guard low, and i tossed around the idea of taunting after FC 1B. I mean, cass steps forward, and it's not a dash forward, so I thought it would work in not telegraphing a throw.

... it kinda works, but not really. XD

I try to be creative with post-match taunting, instead of just using the default taunt (unless I'm Tira, and I need to change moods).

If I'm close enough to the edge, I usually go for a self-RO because it's silly and makes my opponent laugh.

If I'm Kilik or Xianghua, I'll lay down on the floor next to them.

If I'm Night or Sieg, I'll either 44K body slam them (it looks more comical than offensive really; like a wrestling move), or FC A+G constantly to tickle their feet. Sieg also has the option of stance dancing =D

If I'm Taki, I like to 214214214214 PO Mist spam.

If I'm Yun-Seong, I like to CR +[K] somersault spam. :sc2yun2: WHOO-HOO!

I'm about neutral to mass taunt spam, but I get a little peeved whenever someone chooses to beat my defeated corpse senseless after a fight. Moreso than that, teabagging really gets on my nerves. It's not even silly, it's just stupid. And really, SC isn't really the game to do it in

Asta 66[K] is the best to do if near edge because you do the loony toons "stop in midair for a sec before falling" thing.

Last time I taunted (Entirely by accident), my comeback in a tourney got stopped cold by Sieg's throw you over the edge.

...so no more taunting for me for now except obligatory X taunts at the end of a round to charge up SXS.

People get so butthurt by taunting and being hit post match. I don't know why.

Its like, you LOST, they can do whatever they want.

That's like saying if you lost a boxing match, your opponent is allowed to defecate on you.

I mean, you LOST. They can do whatever they want.

In the game no matter how much they taunt you, as long as you don't let it affect you I think it's fine.

I like beating up corpses myself - relieves a little stress. SelfRO if I ROed my opponent.

If I'm fighting an overmatched opponent who I know has no chance.. I'll keep taunting in their face, letting them get off free hits until they take about half my life bar.. Then I'll open up and taunt them after every knock down. Ultimate disrespect tactic!

Cass always goes out butt first after the opponent if I RO someone.

Nothing is is more blindingly classless than "teabagging." That really gets under my skin. And if that's what they were going for, then I guess it's the most effective taunt of all.

i personally don't even bother with taunting when i fight someone i don't know. i usually just stand there. i find it incredibly petty. if i manage to get a KO with my back against the ring out side, i'll usually G cancel mina's 9A+B so she falls out of the ring (for "teh lulz1"). i will taunt spammers and people who taunt or spam taunt me. for some reason, i find taunting okay among a group of people you know for some reason.

oh, and i REALLY find "teabaggers" incredibly classless too. i personally love it when a spammy mitsu who sucks thinks he's awesome enough to teabag. interestingly enough, i played a nightmare who would "teabagged" after two straight ROs. i got a perfect in the last round and just spam taunted him with my ryu hayabusa mina CAS.

I usually only do it when ppl talk serious trash to me and I beat them or they taunt me after getting a round on me and THEN I beat them. I don't make the mistake of taunting in the middle of a match and then losing it as well as my pride lol. as far as funny things go....japanese voices and yun's taunt over and over and over lol. keeps slappin that knee and sounding funny,

I don't taunt. I'd rather a good, fun game as opposed to making someone else's day possibly more miserable than it already is. I play games to relieve stress after a shitty/long day at work. It's an escape. The last thing I want is to deal with someone who's taunting/fucking with my corpse/screaming daft crap through the mic. Maybe that's just me. I mean, I still play plenty of people who taunt because they're good players, but it gets kind of old eventually.

When I played football/soccer/cross-country/baseball in high school, I never talked shit during games. This is kind of the same thing. I mean, imagine running a 5k or something and talking mad shit to everyone at the starting line, and then, upon passing each person, you do a little victory pose, maybe grabbing your junk and leaping in the air or something? Yeah, I wouldn't do it in real life, so I'm not particularly inclined to do it in videogames.

edit: felix is an exception. He can taunt all he wants, 'cause he's just that much better than I am.

The best and most suitable time to taunt an opponent is when you ring out them.
A lot of the taunts fit in perfectly well after you've RO your opponent.

Like "All show and no go!" and "This is ridiculous". :-D
I always taunt the CPU after RO-ing them. LOL

Anyway, taunting isn't a big deal.....it just makes the game funnier.
Like if someone taunts me after owning me big-time, I think that's really interesting.

Unless, of course, you're one of those serious, humor-impaired people who take everything overly seriously.

Best Damn way to taunt.

Crouching....trust me. It isn't insulting or anything, it's almost meaningless, until you start doing it constantly. Then it becomes a mental attack.

I noticed doing this a couple times after winning or near the edge after ringing someone out gets to peoples. Especially with Asta, cause his fat ass is just looking at you laying there all beaten-up and shit.

taunting using my own mouth. I do that before starting a session sometimes with my friends "You don't know who you're going up against. muha.." or whatever. However taunting with character is almost never done; I'm too focused during the match.

Crouching, that's funny. I'll try it and see how it looks. XD

Quoting Nikar, "I hate Asta! Beef steak, anyone?"
I'll make you eat those words! ;P

P.S. there should be an option to quote someone while editing XD
