SCV Voldo Revealed - Creepier Than Ever!

I don't test very much about combo.

6ABA(1st hit:SCIV A , 2nd and 3rd hit:SCIII ABA's 2nd and 3rd) is NCC
7_8_9A(old 66A),LFHT B or LFHT bA+B+K(BE,quick LFFT B*3) or LFHT B+K
WR AA(=CR AA) is NC and I can't found old WR A
66A(old 44A) stuns on NH but I didn't try any combo.

2BB(SCIII 2BB) is probably NCC
3BB is still there.

4BAA(SCIII 4BAA) is probably NC
6BA+B+K(BE,SCIII 6BB,Break Attack) is NC
WR BB(= CR BB) is NCC( On CH 1st-hit stuns and 2nd-hit hits down opponent)

11_77B(old 22_88B),CE,MCHT any move
22_88B(new lancher into BS),BS 66K or BS 1_2_3B(old BS1B)

BS 4B(old BS B+K!) stuns on CH. I didn't try if BS 4B cause run counter.

MaskedKT, I have one question about Voldo and one question about the actual gameplay.

Did you see if Voldo had 1B,K like from SC2 and SC3? It was his normal 1B, but the K made him transition into MCFT. It was a very powerful tech crouching NCC so it'd be really nice to see that come back since he's seemed to have lost his A+B.

Also, did you see if you can hold G and continuiously press A or B to buffer throw breaks? In SC2 and SC3 if you pressed A or B while holding down G you would get a throw. This made throw breaking more of a reaction based skill. In SC4 you could press A or B while holding G and you would still guard, but also buffer a throw break with continuous pressing. Were you able to notice which way this works in the demo build you played?

I did not see 1B,K. Probably Voldo has 1B only. I tried to input 1B,A+B+K but waste.

It's not really that big a deal, but I'm not sure what the purpose is in taking the exact same animation moves and giving them new inputs to such a large degree. In some cases I could see wanting to use the old inputs for something else for a particular reason, but there's other cases where it just seems like if they have two moves for new Voldo, and one is old and one is new, they could leave the old one on the old input and put the new one on a new input, instead of making the old move a new input and the new move the old input so you have to relearn everything. It's not like new inputs changes the character in a meaningful way, what I'm excited for is to play with are new moves or greatly changed versions of old ones, not relearn the inputs.
 
HOLY SHIT you can't find the old A+B? I literally am not going to know what to do now. I think I used that was like 30% of my inputs at least. I'll just start freezing up.

Not only do they give her new inputs for the same moves, but they also remove/add new stances to her. Seems like they've done alot mor removing than adding this time around though. A+B might be in there somewhere. In previous SC's it was an 8WR move.

Yeah, each iteration shuffles Voldo's moves around. I went back to play SC2 the other day and all I could think was "How did this EVER make sense???"
 
Yeah, that's the worst part about it. I cannot go back to SC2 or SC3 and use Voldo with any kind of consistency. I wish they would be more like SF and keep the same moves.
 
MaskedKT, Did you see if he still has 22_88A+B and if you can cancel it like you could in SC2?

22_88A+B is still there. It can be canceled by pressing A or B or K and can not be canceled by pressing G.
I didn't test wether it can be canseled by input 236.

Sorry,I didn't check it.
Still fc 3A+B is Break Attack and still fc 3[ A+B ] quickly becomes UB.
