Hey guys I have a question? Has it always been common knowledge that you can "feint" basic attacks?? In soul Calibur 4 when I was playing Sophitia my OG girl, when I did Y, X, or B and quickly guarded she would do the beginning of the attack but quickly stop and make an attack sound...

Yeah, when quickly pressing :G: after a :A:,:B:, or :K: it will cancel the first hit of the basic attack or "feint" as you put it. It also works with specific attacks from other characters and some :UA:'s as well.

I know you can do it in SCIV and V. I forget if it works in II or III, so I'll have to test it out sometime.

Ah I see, thank you! I knew you could do it from unblockable attacks(Amy for example can cancel her normal UA so she can briefly enter her wavedash stance) but I had no idea normal moves could be feinted that way. XD

On topic with the discussion I just wanted to add my two cents: We may not have gotten an announcement yet but they'll likely say something after T7 drops, their goal is to not overshadow T7 since they know there's a lot of demand for SC6.

I looked at the television and once saw a program on ESPN, a sports network. At my job we have television screens with sports channels on. There was a sports news cast whose huge logo I saw as I passed by and it read ^that.
I couldn't HELP but think, 'Aww, c'mon. I'm seeing those three characters TOGETHER and in this ORDER and an OFFICIAL logo, but not coming from Project Soul.'

The only close-to-special thing about this logo is to share everyone's frustration about no news for a sequel to a Soul Calibur game.

EDIT: Hence, so... this wasn't quite fan-made over the internet.
BTW: ^that "SC6" logo just only meant Sports Center at 6:00pm EST.

Don't kill me for this, but I think SC is dead. Either on life support, or outright dead. Honestly, the moment I saw the Pachislot trailer, I thought "Yup, it's over." On top of that, the Facebook page is pretty much dead at this point.

However, I would like to mention that I am to this day confused over the effort they went through to make it: They literally made new CGI cutscenes... for a non-canon pachinko game! WHAT? O.o

Anyway, for SC6 I would love to see a proper story mode. One that doesn't focus on a select few characters, but rather one that shows us what all characters are going through. And oh boy, they have some unanswered questions from SCV...
 
Yeah, it kind of is dead (but i wouldn't say deader than VF). I'm the series will come back to life once T7 hits stores on June 2nd. Then we'll be getting more info.

I'm not sure if they have any info to share with us at this point since the Facebook page has died again. And that pachinko game... I can't help but feel like that's where their effort went.
 
Tekken 7 can't come soon enough, then it will finally be out of the way and hopefully SC news will come.
 
Despite the lack of activity, I don't think the series is gone. While my patience (and everyone else's for that matter) is currently being tested, I still have hope we may receive something after Tekken 7. I just haven't been thinking too much about SC6 because I've had other things to do and think about more than this atm.
