I still think we should make different boards for CAS, separated by game. Mainly because it's going to have new life when SCVI comes out and we want to share our creations on the new game, and it'd be easier to go through to find what you're looking for.

Or best case szenario. SC VI without Cas and more of the actual game.
Yeah, not happening. CAS is a staple part of the SC experience, and a major selling point for the game. They cut CAS, and you'll have MvCI all over again with a massive backlash over such a stupid decision.

Nyte talking about "staple parts of the SC experience"

Cas is the worst part about ScV. It adds nothing to the game aside from shitty looking custom outfit who are always way inferior to the og ones. Id rather have 3p and 4p outfits instead of a feature that is straight up terrible.

But yea i guess if you are into pink voldos with dicks an d horseheads its amazing.

Considering it extended the life of the game by far, it's not the worst thing. It was hilarious going online and seeing Cloud fight Abraham Lincoln, and I've seen tons of cool designs. There's no way they're cutting it.

I'm pretty sure this has been said before but I will say it again. For SCVI, they should just add the option to allow/disable CaS characters in Player Matches. That way the casuals can use their creations in their own lobbies while the other players can enjoy the game without the CaS issues being a burden. Netherrealm did something like this in Injustice 2 with the Gear system, so why not have Namco and Project Soul have this in SC?

Cas don't really make much of a difference in player matches.

WHat they need to bring back is special vs and add in loot boxes. That'd be a stupid money maker.

There should be an option to turn it off though, like crash said. Looking at cas outfits just ruins the experience.

You can on XBL just by upping the privacy restrictions in the system. Then you just play vs against a bunch of people in their underwear.

It would be easy to find a SCVI threads anyway, because they would be the only ones active, and thus always at the top of forum section.
Everything on 8WR is already pretty neatly categorised. Dunno why you feel sudden urge to create such a fuss about unannounced yet game, that changing structure of the forum is for some reason required.

Yeah f*ck CAS hope it won't came back, and if it will, it will have its own game mode leaderboards and cie. Also hope they go on giving character more alternate costume rather than having pieces of clothes common to all the roster.

You don't have to look further than SFV and MvCI to see what only focussing on the base competitive game does to sales, and those are franchises which have absolutely enormous tournament scenes compared to Soulcalibur.
It doesn't have to be CaS, but fighting games need to remember that they're not just about fighting, they're also games.

And I mean, I have spent an hour digging my 360 out of the wardrobe, plugging it in, hooking it up to the internet, plugging in the 5 cables into the back of my tv... sorting out Microsoft's shitty email crap... then put it all away, on multiple occasions, just to be able to mess around with CaS. It's a very powerful feature for some, that's all.

Removing CAS would be downright stupid. You don't like it? Don't use it. Simple. Don't ruin it for others who do.
I mostly use CAS for recolors or changing the main characters costumes. I hardly create my own, and when i do i never use them lol.
