    That's interesting because I was able to go against Caspian on the 360 a while back and we had a flawless connection. See we can only do so much. Ultimately it comes down to the service provider if you're running an optimal set up.

    He is though we had trouble connecting today. I wonder what the deal is.

    With the Elgato though, it's generally kinda pissy about working right away if I turn on the console before I have the PC up and running. Also if you're trying to run HDMI from a PS3, to the thing it's not going to work. (HDCP gets int he way.)

    but alas there's no HDMI connected to my PS3, got that component thing that allows me to bypass all that jazz. there's only one HDMI cable and that's connecting the TV to the capture device
