α Patroklos General Discussion/ Q&A

So ive been playing the game for over 24 hours and i have to stay his dmg output is very good similar or yet better than Setsuka's. A+K is now 8A+B, and a few of the normals have been altered, some replaced buy better moves. The majority of his moves are pretty safe. And ive discovered you can link his CE from 2A and 66K on hit :)
 
I thought those were pre-made, but I think it's related to the license that you make in the game since it shows the map that you set in your profile. But I don't know for sure. So far, the names that stuck out are Docvizzo, Maxou, LostProvidence, Ramon, lolo, and Saitoh

They are pre-made. A few months ago, there was a contest where you had to fill a form on Namcos page to appear in the game as CPU opponent. Some players apparently didn't have to do it to appear in SCV. Jag the Gemini is there, I'm there as well. There are probably tons more.

I don't know how your hair looks but both you and Maxou use Patsuka =) Aris is also there, he uses Voldo. This info comes from a FR player, I don't have the game yet.

Edit: I can't get his char to pop up again. But it was a male cass with a straw hat using aP style and the title Laoshi

Apparentely Laoshi is a title who only masters earn, so cool for me!

"Those who have "earned" a right to be addressed as laoshi, such as medical professors or those with a doctoral degree (i.e. one higher than a first professional degree in medicine) should be addressed as laoshi rather than "doctor". The same term can also be used for those engaged in other occupations which can be seen as analogous to academia and the professions, such as accomplished writers."

"Though pronounced identically and bearing similar meanings, the two terms are distinct and usage is different. The former term (師傅) bears only the meaning of "master", and is used to express the speaker's general respect for the addressee's skills and experience."

"In Chinese, 老師 (Chinesepinyin: Lǎoshī) is a common word for teacher or professor without the religious/spiritual connotation of rōshi."

In SCBD you could pick one of over 100 titles available that displayed below your player's "card" so don't get your hopes up :P
 
I got to play aPat last night

JF "Umbrella" seems easier to do, same with his SCIV A+G combo.

The lack of range really changes things. I was able to overcome it a bit with wave dashing, but that takes a lot of effort.

I'm kinda annoyed I can't just 33B every time someone is grounded, since you can easily roll it to one direction now. I couldn't break the habit and lost a lot of matches that way :(

2a$ is really hard to do, I might need an A+B+K button now.

4A seems worse, the TC comes in too late or move is too slow or something.
 
4A seems worse? 4A seemed like pure trash. No ch KND or anything...can you check if it at least guarantees CE?

Also somebody please check if a JF Umbrella near a wall OR a 2A BE near a wall guarantees a 22BA pickup into wallsplat. If yes please also check what angle is needed fo A+G to do A+G, 8A+BB, 2A BE, 22BA, W!, etc etc...

dont know if it works, just wondering :)
