Some weird animal characters. I like them, especially that dapper bird and the Cowardly Lion's badass brother.

not sure what CAS of mine you are referring to to be honest, can you be more specific as to which CAS and why you like them, are you referring to animal kingdom CAS (if you like animal go and check that thread of mine out you won't be dissapointed as many creators posted cool stuff there ;o)

And if you like compendiums, check out the slideshows you might catch other things more interesting and complex than animal CAS...then maybe i'll get more ink from Mr Quill ;o)

there a lot of vids to be seen in my youtube channel as well if you want the real feel of my CAS, some of them embedded in the previous pages

If our CAS discussion stops here, thanks for stopping by

Those are neat masks... But I am not familiar with the game.... The tattoo work seems nice. I know Joe was pretty obsessed with making CAWs on ... Some wrestling game... I didn't have much to do with that... But I could tell his stuff was sharp.... He is the detail guy of the two of us. ..... No not detail... Accuracy.... Anyway, there were multiple layers of tattoos on that game...... And like our CASs he was always maxed out. I guess it doesn't matter what limit you give us we will be right up to the brim on it. I was terrible on Little Big Planet.... I would max out my meter before I even felt I had begun....(and I rarely finished my levels.... :))
If you look at our CASs I think about 90% of them use every single sticker and every single object... Even when they seem simple.
My point after all that is this.... I wish we had more layers of stickers available to us but I bet whatever limit they set would eventually feel like not enough.
Anyway, cool work on the masks.... Hopefully the next SC will have an awesome creation mode....

Thanks for dropping by and adding a few words on page 70 ;o) !

Yeah i do get your point...
actually those masks are only 12 layers, and it takes a lot of thinking outside the box to actually get there with only 12, especially because you have to duplicate some (a nice mirroring feature is in the mask editor which is sorely lacking in the SC5 editor btw !)

I know how you do your CAS, and i know you use every single opportunity to add detail and rarely leave a slot free, so do I.
On the other hand, if we had unlimited creative power in the editor, we wouldn't have to scratch our head to find workarounds, and the wow effect induced by the CAS would be diminished ? or not ?

Anyways, i am glad you Beck and Joe are back and create some new stuff and vids

i still lurk, but what can top my marsupilami, hey ? kinda reached a climax there :P

Vil from another thread said:
Have a look around the most popular thread, i guarantee you won"t ceased to be amazed for months to come, new comer ;o)
Okay, I can see you want some attention so I checked out your thread. ;)

What can I say? I only acquired SCV recently as I have been overseas for years without my XBox and just got it when I came home, so I'm late to the party.

And...I'm overwhelmed by the extravagant cornucopia of flamboyant wonderfulness that is the CAS subforum. It will take me a long time to absorb all this awesomeness that you guys collectively have shared with us, since you've had over a year to delve into the mysterious arcana of CAS while I was still unaware that SCV even existed! My brain is overloaded and I've been browsing threads like this one in a state of dazzled bewilderment.

Such lavish beauty!

Gods of CAS, this fleshy mortal bows in obeisance before thee.

First off, thanks for the kind words. I like that kind of litteral prowesses with fancy words...a lot, otherwise wouldnt be friend with le bello
May i ask : where have you been overseas (cuz i am from overseas), and wherefrom the vivid interest for CAS ?

cheers

Sorry I wanted to reply to you when you posted on my thread , but.... after reading this post, I thought I might as well respond here.
Thanks for your comments first off... :)
...and ...
Since you are new to the game, and CAS you might want to check out some of the competition threads.... I believe they have a permanent place at the top of the Create-A-Soul page.
There is a lot of strong work from creators that have already left for other games ... or lives ... or....
whatever. It would be a shame to miss their stuff.
:)

you are always welcome here chobek - you could post the weather forecast i still wouldnt report you - i feel i lost the vibe since my last CASnimals - so i like when people still come in shock and awe about my/our CAS art ... cool hey, whod blame them - we put PS to shame long ago :p

Thanks, it's nice to have one's voluminous verbiage appreciated. I will endeavour to spice this post with sesquipedalian flourishes aplenty, just for you, since you are one who revels in manifestations of bombastic exuberance of a linguistic character! :D

In swift rejoin to your most virtuous, noble, and welcome interrogative, allow me to opine that Spain is a most pleasing and sun-drenched environ, and it was for this reason and this alone that I contrived to while away a good three-point-five years therein. I am, by my inborn nativity, a man of undeniable Irishness, alas, and ergo I am compelled for reasons familial to return once more to my erstwhile motherland. It fucking rains here a lot. But at least I have my xbox.

Lastly, I've been CASing with gleeful abandon since the heady days of SC3 and I have always derived pleasure and gratification from a well-crafted and finely-honed CAS such as those which are in such abundant evidence in this most honourable of threads. I raise my glass to it in salutation and libation, and to all those brave heroes who dare to CAS!
