Ho ho ho, in all seriousness I do know what Maxi's loops are, but for the sake of humor I am obligated to overreact to things posted here.

Thank you for the quick replies though. One would not expect such speed in the Aeon general board.
 
I'm very active in here, and always make sure Aeon SA doesn't die.

(Even though I'm not the one who answered you. I don't know shit about Maxi's inputs.)
 
Hell I could even get first as Di_PL never does anything here and don't even play Aeon competitively.

I think me and crow winters would make fine mods in the Aeon SA, because of overall knowledge, experience and results with the character. Also we debate like enraged dogs. But I don't think he's interested and I have school coming up.

But by all means Slade, you should take it. You're very active and is always helping people out with tons of useful information.
Plus you've been playing Aeon for a while too and know his stuff very well. You only need to go place somewhere (which you can) and you're set.

And to finish this post was by no means an offense or attack to Di_PL. I know he competes offline and I heard he was very skilled. He also always have quality posts and even articles down here on 8wr. I was just stating some facts up there.
 
I could theoretically do it since I have a job that requires me to sit at a computer all day. I can technically get fired for being on the net during my job, but, two years later, I'm still here. haha.

The last time I modded something in the calibur community was the Algol SA in SC4. I wanted him as soon as they announced him. The storm that surrounded him almost instantaneously really burnt me out, so... yeah. I'm just ambivalent. I could be a okay back up person if no one else will do it.

why 4A over 9K?

honestly, i just don't see the point of 4A anymore. the range is just so horrible. the payoff might be good, but i feel like i haven't hit anyone with 4A in months. 9K is a tj, has more range, can wallsplat/ro, is safer on block and has comparable startup speed.

How the hell did you bring that twitch face in here? Yes I know all about that though it's very unreliable. Pretty much everything tech traps after 8B+K max range. 66B catches all for massive damage but the timing is almost impossible. And lol 2K.

2A catches all after 22B. And 44B isn't a tech trap after 1A.

Because with 44BAA, 4A rings-out from way farther.

4A~44B,A,A is guaranteed. Aeon takes no chances.
 
i know that. 4A just sucks. you can walk someone's ass to the ring edge and they could still probably backstep out of 4A's range
 
Did a little testing. SW K is -7 on hit under normal circumstances (against standing opponent, so raw SW K hit or 44A_44(A)_SW BE → SW K combo). After 66B → SW K, it's -12.

Testing notes:
A+BK on hit into 66A+B (i24) trades with WR K (i16+15 wakeup frames=31), 24-31=-7
66BK into B (i20) trades with OTG 6A (32), 20-32=-12. This does not seem to change if you delay the SW K after 66B.

So 3B → 66K is 63 damage, clean hit for 71, leaves you at good advantage, good oki.
66B → SW K is 68 damage, clean hit for 77 (less often), leaves you at heavy disadvantage.

Ergo you really don't have a reason to be using 66B over 3B as a punisher. Save 66B for murdering the fuck out of rollers.
