kk I'll continue each time with these in mind...also what kind of approach is recommended for Algol, do I stay in his face and maintain pressure or do I attempt to space while keeping 4B+K in mind?

This MU favors NM for a handful of stupid reasons that you can exploit:
1. Algol can only punish 22_88B at point blank range, he can't step around it very well, and it eats up a large portion of his offense with its sidestep. Abuse the hell out of it.
2. 33_99B is another move that's extremely difficult for Algol to avoid. You can basically check all of his movement at almost any range with this.
3. NM's ridiculous step is amazing in this MU. Consider: after Algol lands a 2A (he's at +8), you can sidestep or interrupt almost any reasonable follow-up option. In fact, at these frames/spacing, you will reliably step Algol's grabs. Essentially, after you eat a 2A, mix between 9K and sidestep->44B into death, and you've got most things covered.
4. You're Nightmare. You're basically drowning in meter all of the time. GIs are useful as hell, and you can always do them.
There's more to it, of course--you have to leverage your movement advantages, learn how to keep the pressure up, etc, but you can go a long way by exploiting just a couple of things.
so basically I'm just stupid in this MU
4B+K isn't scary when Algol is at like -50 on whiff. You shouldn't really be trying to outspace Algol anyway, since Algol can essentially outspace every single character in the game thanks to his multitude of good ranged options and amazing backstep. NM's one of the few characters that can really stop Algol from backing off all game thanks to 33B6 GS cancel. That move alone pretty much puts the MU in NM's favor since it's hard to step in general, but Algol can't step at all so it totally wrecks his movement options. As for getting 623B'd all the time, that just makes it sound like you're straight up getting outplayed. That move has crazy properties, but it's still a huge risk for Algol, and especially so because you get 3(B), NSS bA as a punish when you block it. If you're getting hit by it all the time, then you're just getting read constantly and need to play smarter.yh you're right, but up till now the fight has always seemed one-sided...I do fairly and then boom Algol managed to turn the WHOLE thing around in an instant...I just feel so helpless in this MU, I can't space because I'm that scared of 4B+K...Algol can zone the hell out me, when I try to retaliate or try to move away I get 2A'd even when I have the advantage frames, not to mention the amount of times Algols caught me with 623B's GI...this whole time I've always felt like I can't space, can't attack, can't do anything, pokes haven't faired well either...so what else is left?
