So we know Nightmare can be very dangerous and can own people very quickly if a opponent doesn't know what to expect from a Nightmare player. Anyways, post here if you have strategies to defeat Nightmare for those that have a difficult time dealing with him in general.

But seriously, get acquainted with Nightmare's movelist. Most online players are pretty easy to predict with him once you play about a hundred of em.

Just play smart like you would with any other character. TC moves, step guard, block punish.

Doesn't take much to know how to play anti NM.

Tip:

Nightmare's 1A is not that bad to stop compared to Sopitia and Mitsu unblockable lag moves online. Your not totally screwed. Most online NM will try to use 1A on you when you down and about to get up. So it can get predictable. So always be prepared to block 1A when your down and about to get up. Once you block Nightmare's 1A, you can punish him pretty good so its not that bad of a move to stop online.. unlike Sopitia and Mitsu, which will give you a harder time if they spam you know what.
