Seems some of you guys are more less conjuring a wishlist.
I asked a few Maxi question (relevant to my interest, not all Maxi players) and one on Hwang.
Here are the questions I shot at them, all 5 got approved.
1.Yo,(yes, all of them start with "Yo" LOL)
"I was wondering about my favorite SC character, Maxi. The Auto Guard Impact is a very, very nice addition to his Pure Soul Loop 3, however my question is relating to his Wavering Light stance. Why were more options not given to this stance? I understand there is a balence to meet, but Wavering Light holds so much more potiential in my eyes. Such as maybe a cool Bruce Lee styled command grab? Or his old Soul Calibur 2 backward sidewinder move(Back+A+K)? or a way back to Pure Soul Loop 3? Were ideas like this ever played with?"
2."In past games, Maxi having limited low attacks were a problem. In Soul Calibur 3 Maxi 's down+A+B single handedly remedied this problem by offering a solid low attack that allowed high attacks to go right over his head. My question, why was this very useful attack moved to his new Wavering Light Stance?"
3."While Maxi has kept, mostly the same sets of moves throughout the Soul Calibur series. He has actually played very differently throughout them all. My question, what was the vision you guys had for Maxi, playstyle wise in Soul Calibur 4?"
4."One of my personal favorite attacks with Maxi is his attack "Mark of the Beast"(Which I have dubbed, "The Drum Solo"). I noticed in Soul Calibur 3, you switched his "Mark of the Beast" and "Lunging Mantis" commands. What was the reason for this change in Soul Calibur 3? And follow up question, why was the decision for his "Lunging Mantis" attack in Soul Calibur 4 to no longer knock the oppenent down on hit or counter hit?"
5."Although a Maxi player, my second favorite character was Hwang. Why was this character (along with Olcadan and Li Long) cut from the character roster?"
