B2: Gotcha Beeeeeaatch!!

Okay, so I realized that there wasn't a thread to show what moves B2 will catch people out of...which honestly is one of the most humerous things in this game to do. When a talim player jumps at you spinning like a mo-fo and you catch that bitch, jack her in the stomach and throw her to your feet it feels so good. When someone is spamming 4B+K with cervy and you catch the monkey mid-drop and throw him into a wall for a big combo there is nothing you can do but laugh. Full speed aerial kick to my face? I don't think so!! That unblock of yours cassandra looks mighty scary....too bad you jump *B2..

So anyway, if people could post the different humorous or useful moves that B2 will catch people out of that would be great. Make sure to state if the use of B2 is only humerous (such as against dread charge B) or if its useful (such as against asura dance...or so I read).

I'll start it up and edit over time to add more moves. Once there are more posts I might move them into groupings by character if there are enough. (and don't bother putting stuff like 8a, because every character has a move like that)

Kilik: asura dance (someone provide when during the dance plz)
Mitsu: 8_9 B+K
Yoshi: DGF, 9B+K
Cass: (I don't play so I don't know the annotation (if anyone knows it, plz add) but her unblockable where its a charge up unblockable that can be let go early.
cervy: 4B+K, dread B, 4A+B, aK
 
the Cass unblockable is 8B+K.

Not sure on these two but

Astaroth's Titan Bomb, but who would miss a titan bomb?

I use this move constantly now just as a regular poke, lol. So it more or less just happens for me.

Yea, I use as a poke too..quite a bit...(really seems to freeze people up or they AA at you and A+B into mix-up ends up tech crouching the AA)..not really specifically to counter anything for the most part (usually better options..) but its fun to know :) and its a semi-fast move that hits mid so it has its advantages against AA as counter. I'm just tryin to see what funny/cool/useful ways people have caught people really more than trying to find a guide to use it.
 
its really good versus Kilik. Asura cant GI it. Its a great way to put some pressure on Kilik without the fear of asura, and if you do land the air catch it will really make him think twice before throwing out asura mindlessly.
 
I've caught 4A+B and I have been caught out of iGDR... *embarrassed face*. Needlessly to say, my opponent won the match out of pure manliness. I've caught Tira's 6K. Cervy 4B+K. Tons of Astaroth stuff. 28B+G, 9B+K, etc.
 
Now that I think about it, it makes sense for b2 to beat out iGDR, since the latter has kinda shitty priority.
 
iGDR is technically faster than b2 at close range, so the b2 would have to come out prior to the iGDR. It's not something you'd be aiming for in a match, until you actually hit it. Then you tell everyone you meant to do that lol. Mindgames, son.
 
Err, I threw out iGDR from like, max range, so I dunno. I gotta ask him if that was on purpose, cause that was only like 1 of the two B2s he threw out that game.
 
i think the timing on hitting the B2 to catch is very strict cuz the only time I've ever attempted B2 against iGDR i got a tie hit. iGDR does have kinda shitty priority... tie hits WAY too often. And thats GREAT to know it works well against asura.
 
Well if iGDR had its insane priority from SC3 than it would be near to broken. iGDR is really well designed in this Game imo.

The b2 Stuff you talk imo is waaay to risky. Dont forget, b2 is bullshit as a AT unless your ROing oder get a W!. Damage is ridicolous small 20ish. Since im not the guy who plays for funny moments, i would suggest only to use it when its the best move for a certain Situation. Why risk eating a far Range iGDR (80 Damage!!) for getting 25 Damage?

Against Kilik its not great cause you catch him in Mid Air, but because it teaches him not to abuse it. If i would play Kilik i really wouldnt care too much about b2s Damage. Not a big deal at all. The best we can hope is a REpatch ;)

Other Sitautions you could use it of course is Sophies 11A[A], but here i would just go for a faster poke for not loosing frames. AA, K. If you have awesome reflexes, of course b2 is cool, too.

I think against Maxis 3B~followup b2 is very good. If i remember right it beats out most of the stuff and clashes with 3B~B.
 
For all practical purposes he's right. You net much higher damage from blocking and punishing iGDR (cervy's highest damage is.....?) than you would from trying to b2 someone out of it. Of course, if you hit this by accident, and then tell them you did that on purpose, that'll give them even more to think about.

Even if they assume you're bullshitting them, now they're thinking "man wtf this asshole is bullshitting me, why's he lookin down on me?" or "he's just playin around now and not taking this seriously" which are separate thought processes from what they SHOULD be focusing on, the match in front of them.

Catching people out of 4A+B by risking 100 Damage for 25 is pure MIND FUCK. Instant Win caused by humiliation.
 
Kinda related is this: After 66K in the corner you can land B2 Attack Throw. Reaaally unreliable, though. You have to delay a bit and maybe hitting at an angle might help. Lotta bonus damage if you get wall splat though.
 
here's a good one. So when people start to run at you when you are near the edge, a lot of the time they are going for a running K. And since the running K is a tech jump you can catch them with B2 for a ringout (if you are near the edge)and its a fast enough move that you have a good chance of tapping them out of a ringout style B or A move (unless they are a really long range character). Its both fun and useful (since they have to be running for it to work).

Added: Also as a random aside, one funny use for 4A+B is when yoshi runs at you to suicide... somebody did that to me a week or so ago and I used 4A+B anticipating the start of the suicide's turn..the full thing does 200+ health and pretty much makes yoshi go from 100% health to about 5% health or so...WOOSH

So, CH 66k? Meaning if you're tucked in a corner, you can lift them out of that sliding stun with b2? SOUNDS unreliable, but it'd be neat to pull off.
