BattleField 3

Got the game, I like it but also dislike it at the same time. I play a lot of conquest and it seems like no one works together and everyone does their own thing. I had the game for like 3 days and on the second day I kept getting top 3 on conquest games. I usually try and do stuff that will benefit the entire team instead of me, I love trying to snipe but I always end up having to use engineer and having to shoot down choppers and tank or repairing tanks because no one else does it. I have to try and take over checkpoints by myself because everyone is to busy trying to just act like a badass instead of focusing on helping people. It's annoying that I have to use recon in small maps just so I can set up spawn beacons for the rest of my asshat teammates to get into better position to take over checkpoints. I seriously get annoyed at the shit I have to put up with so we can even stand a chance at winning.

I was playing conquest and I was MVP and had more points than mine team or the other team. I had like 4000 points while the other people on my team had like 2000, I was the only one taking checkpoints over and getting kills because people thought it was a good idea to try and fucking snipe in an area no one fucking goes through... other than that I do really like the game.
 
I'm actually loving the new maps. The added destruction really gave me what I felt was missing from the maps before. Haven't unlocked new guns yet, but so far I only play B2K now.
 
I'm not into FPP shooters, but I've seen my brother playing this game online and there was a moment where some kind of a huge radio tower collapsed next to him, the way it looked and sounded was pretty crazy, I got goosebumps, which I rarely get when playing/watching a video game o.0

You can "gun down" tall structures just like that in BF3?
 
New guns suck. I was hunting me a Doc Tom and he OMGed FAMAS OP!!11

The Caspian Border tower now goes down near the end of the round. You can't shoot it down. :(
Destruction 3.0 is kinda like destruction 1.0 just with less destroyable stuff.... o_O
 
I hated the Famas when I first unlocked it cuz the iron sights on that thing are just so damn horrible, its literally a slab of metal with a hole cut out and you can't see @#$% when aiming with it. Once you get scopes and whatnot it becomes easier to use though. I also hate that Chinese light machinegun, the thing is worthless. The Chinese semi-auto sniper, on the other hand, is amazing on hardcore.
 
Anyone want to run a squad with me? I'm tired of being the only person in conquest actually trying to help out the entire team.
 
Which vehicle is the DPV? I know it is one of the jeeps but I can't tell which is which and I need 3 more kills with it to finish my last assignment and get the MK3A1 auto shotgun.
 
The DPV will say "Press () to enter DPV" - that's the first clue. :)

The second clue is the machine gun on top only goes like 160 degrees. It's really crap.

The assignment didn't unlock for me immediately like the others. I think I ended up with some 25 kills before it popped *after* the round ended.
 
Yes the P90 is in there.


Finally got those 5 DPV kills. Its a specific type of buggy that only shows up on Oman on conquests (I don't like rush) and it sucks even more than normal buggies since the gun has a very narrow aiming arc and you have to have the jeep pointing at what you want to shoot. Whoever came up with the idea of needing 5 kills with this thing to unlock a gun needs to take themselves out back and kill themself so as not to waste anyone else's time. (yes I'm angry, I've spent the last hour and a half trying to get my last kill with that thing and I'm a little ticked off atm)
 
The BTR-90 thingie is another tricky to find one. I think (you might want to look it up...) that it spawns near the constructions site on Karkand only if the Russians control it? Something like that.

That vehicle is actually pretty nice.
 
It's the wheeled version of the Russian APC. I think you meant Oman since that is the map that has the construction site, there is also one at the Russian Spawn area next to the AA turret. Keep in mind that I play on 360 so the PC version may be different.

I would, but I rarely play lately. When I do get online, I generally already have at least 5+ people with me.

BF3 is probably getting traded in for a whole $5 (or whatever they'll give me) when SCV releases. Even if SCV sucks, I'm just going to abandon my 360 for a while..... maybe pick up BF3 on the PC.
