this has just been my personal experience but 11_77a is better than 2kb often. it tracks step well, it tech crouches, does more damage, is less punishable, and has excellent range.

finally, people just dont seem to block it. i hit with it often, even against people who seem to psychically predict my 2kb.

now... r u talking about on or offline... cuz there is a huge difference between the two with online or off. But otherwise...11a does have the better range..can't say about punishment... but honestly they are both about the same...kkinda interchangeable... and good to do so.

11A doesn't hit good players, cuz it's just that much slower.

They are both good in their own right, one cannot replace another.

11A is safe in general, but against Characters like Sophie 236B will still punish you on block. (Same goes for sets umbrella)

11A is slower and much easier to read in general, also damage potential is much lower compare to 2kB.

11A have much better TC properties compare to 2kb

11A catch all direction.

2kB is high risk high reward, fast, high damage, and set you up for awesome wake up game.

The good thing about 11A is that it sets you up for some FC et WR stuff which can be surprising. But I kinda don't like it because it doesn't hit OTG.

Yeah... watching 11_77A miss on a grounded opponent makes you sad, because it really looks like it should hit. I still prefer 2KB better simply because the follow ups are more versatile. For instance 2KB 66K lets you continue the mix up game, 11_77A is more of a surprise tactic to catch people off guard if they've never seen it before.

i suppose stating that it is superior to 2kb was a bit hasty, but it has served me better against top opponents who always seem to see 2kb coming.

i would also add that 11a has a very long range and has often surprised people who thought they were out of it's range. it reaches about two character lengths away.

I literally laughed outloud when I read that. But seriously I don't think it can actually replace 2kb but they each have their uses. I've found that it's good for when people duck for 2kb on instinct and then they actually see that you're stepping thats when they come up and you're already slicing at their shins. It's a good changeup of your pace when your rushing.
