Can someone here read info on game disks?

Compiled what i believe is all the new stuff (Four arms things are there because we haven't got it yet)

Next DLC is on Tuesday, so maybe something new will be found then (don't expect anything non-CAS related though). I doubt there's anything new to be found on the disc, we've already gone through most of the data. The only big thing which hasn't been looked into is the audio.

[notice]This thread is for the discussion of utilizing data found on the disc. DLC and CaS discussion goes in their respective threads. Further deviation from this topic will be infracted. This is your only warning.[/notice]

Do you think you could look into the audio and look for any signs of the "skeleton" voice?

I would if I could. The audio is in a format which hasn't been cracked yet as far as I know. It's way beyond my ability to figure out the audio format.
Ah right, fair enough. Thanks anyway.
I don't know if I'll get in trouble for posting it here, but in another thread you were ripping the SC4 voices, would you be able to rip the monster voice for me? (If you still have SC4 that is)

Maybe I remember wrong, but didn't I already do that? Do I have a download for lizardman there? If so, I think he's the voice used for all the other monsters too.

I just checked and no it's not the same voice, the other "monsters" use Jaguar-like sounds.

SC5's audio is an upgraded format of ADX called ADX2 or HCA. I'm sure this is fake, but I read that it's unrippable because it's tied down so hard into the coding that attempting to extract it damages the game itself.

The more likely answer is that no one knows how it works compared to the original ADX format.

I just checked, I do have it uploaded but it wasn't named.

The former is definitely nonsense. It makes no sense that it would break the game to extract data files. Hopefully someone will figure out the format at some point.

Curious to see if anyone can get any of the date regarding Dampierre's random moves? There's a theory going around the SA that they're not strictly random and work on a kind of timer. Whilst I don't believe that myself, it'd be pretty nice if someone could possibly shed some light on that. Dispel any rumours and whatnot.

I don't think that info is possible to figure out. It's likely in the game source (practically impossible to check) or in the moveset files for Dampierre (no one has mapped out the moveset format for any SC game).

I didn't think so, but if you never ask right? Btw, thanks for grabbing yet more of the thumbnail stuff from the CS data.
