More stuff to report...
First of all some good news (well, for some anyway), the game is moddable. I found a way to rebuild the container files. It's a bigger hassle than SC4, but at least it's possible.
After I discovered that, I went through all the character models. And there's some interesting stuff there. First I'll just list the stuff I can't show as screenshots (it crashed the game if I tried to access it by swapping the models with another character):
-Kamikirimusi. Yup, of all characters, Kamikirimusi's SC4 model is in the game. It's right after Astaroth 2p so I suspect this was a placeholder model for boss Astaroth which they never finished.
-Zasalamel. His SC4 1P model is in the game. I have absolutely no idea why. This idea doesn't have much basis, but maybe he was a placeholder model for a possible Night Terror boss?
-2 nekkid girls. Yup. There's 2 models of nude female characters. I have absolutely no idea why they're there (they're not related to CAS, as CAS models are in multiple files and not as a single file). Maybe they wanted to raise the ESRB rating.
Now then for stuff which does work:

And just because I can, I turned Pyrrha's frown and general sadness to GRR and SO MAD:
(aka I swapped replaced omega pyrrha's model with her normal model. I think this look fits her!)
I wish they had moved over more models from SC4. They look muuuuuuuuuuch prettier in this updated engine.
I guess I'll fiddle with movelists next and see if there's anything interesting there.
