Nah we can put it off. I have to get ready for school and stuff so there's shopping to do. I'll be making gatherings more often now though, my new way of rewarding myself for not shirking on responcibilities.

This is an open offer to you if it sounds like fun and you can make it. I live a little outside of Chicago so it might be a bit of a drive for you, if it is and you can't make it I'm sorry :(.
Anyways guys I'm turning 18 saturday, and I think my family is hosting another get-together. If they are I'll post in the next couple days to be certain. Same deal as last time: pizza, iced tea/lemonaid/kool-aid/booze-with-ID, family and friends possibly their kids.

18, huh? That's cool. Would it be too weird for a 38 -year-old beginner-level SC player to show up with beer, snacks, and an arcade stick? My wife works on Saturdays, and you're just a few minutes away from our place. I think I can "sneak out".

Not weird at all. It isn't anything really formal. My family will keep to themselves in the kitchen and are pretty lenient on just about everything so don't worry about that, and if you want to talk to them for some reason they'll definitely give you conversation back.
You aren't obligated to bring snacks but you'll probably get some thank-you's if you do. I think you'll have to bring beer if you want it. Drinking is no problem but any smoking has to be done outside, sorry for that =\. I also have 2 pets if you have issues with them, a small dog and a cat. If none of this is a red flag you're welcome to come and I'll be posting details in the next few days for the time and I'll PM you my address and number for convenience.
